Nice clean look
This bed is really nice and the C&B delivery was great as well.
The bed looks inviting and the headboard is very soft. The sales associate mentioned that the bed has some stain resistance but I guess I will find out if that is true over time. People sweat quite a bit when they sleep so hopefully the stain resistance will live up to my expectations.
Delivery was fast and professional. They even told me a few different ways to take it apart if I ever move.

Great Bed
I recently moved from the UK and bought this bed in king size for my new apartment. This size is larger than anything generally available in the UK and I love all the space.
This bed looks so good in my minimalist bedroom and it is really sturdy and well made.
The quality of this bed has made me return to Crate and Barrel to buy other pieces of furniture

Perfect for us
My husband's a Danish modern kind of guy and I'm more for a mix of cozy antiques and eclectic pieces. This bed fits in with his aesthetic AND blends well with mine. We bought the bed in the Stock Plus Lemongrass and love it even though we had to wait 10-12 weeks for it (they beat the timeframe promised) We also bought the Lucia bedding which cozies it up nicely. The bed is cheerful and comfy--we originally purchased the queen funky board to go with it but it couldn't fit up our city row house steps to our third floor bedroom. We might add a two piece bunky board in the future to add additional support but are still debating its necessity (we've had the bed 3 months).

Fabulous Piece of Furniture
We recently had a house fire and purchased this bed along with multiple other pieces of furniture. The bed is such an attractive piece and its very well made with nice comfortable fabric. It is so sleek and attractive! I would recommend this product to anyone!

Well constructed...sturdy.
I bought this bed 5 months ago and I am still in love with it! My only warning-if you have pets invest in a good vacuum attachment because my dogs white hair really stands out on the charcoal upholstery making me have to vacuum the bed every few days. I ordered online and the bed was delivered and assembled to my satisfaction.

Love this bed
Beautiful bed, sturdy and crafted really well—my husband and I had been looking for a bed to go with some old, gorgeous wood furniture we inherited. The fabric tate bed in slate was the perfect solution. it balances well with the old and provides a nice modern touch to the room. Plus, it's really soft to sleep on! Love it and highly recommend it.

Attractive headboard
Purchased a king Tate bed. Looks beautiful in our bedroom. Thought it was a little pricey, but worth it as my splurge item in the room. Ordering was smooth and the delivery was great, as the guys put my mattress on the bed for me. Only small complaint is that they only delivered in my area once a month (I don't live far from the city) so I had to wait. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful!
We purchased the Tate Bed in linen several years ago. It is still as beautiful as the day it was delivered. We LOVE this bed -- the mid-century lines, the classic look. and after several years, the way it has held up. Definitely one of our best home purchases ever!

Love It! Love It! Love It!
I have never written a review on anything before but I decided to share my thoughts on this bed because I love it so much. My husband and I saw this bed at the Park Meadows store in Littleton, CO. We decided to go with the Shadow color even though it was custom and would take longer. It was so worth the wait. The color is awesome, the craftsmanship is A+, and the level of customer service is fantastic. Tom at the Park Meadows store was fantastic. He communicated with us throughout the whole process and even called 2 times after the bed was delivered to make sure we were happy. The entire staff at that store is great. One thing that I had read in other reviews was that you needed bunkie boards with this bed but we chose not to get them and the bed is just fine without them. We also chose to go ahead and purchase the Simmons Beautyrest Crate and Barrel Special Edition mattress, as the thought of going to a mattress store did not excite us. Again we made a great decision as this mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. It conforms to your body and you don't want to ever get up. Kudos to Crate and Barrel for fantastic products and unmatched customer service!

Beautiful (what you can see of it)
This bed is gorgeous. However, the headboard is not super tall. We do not have a deep mattress and it is still hard to see the button tufting. We have decided not to have shams or decorative pillows of any kind so that you can see more of the headboard. I'm not sure knowing this would have changed my decision to buy it (I still think it is beautiful).

beautiful bed
This bed is exactly as pictured...very beautiful. Delivery and install was as expected. I was a bit put off by the fact that a bunkie board needs to be added to this structure for most (if not all) mattresses. Most other platform style beds (especially in this price range) have a complete wood board support built in, so you dont need to add a bunkie board (which interferes with the look of a bed as well, after the mattress is added).
With bunkie board, this bed is not manufactured to provide more than 1" of depth below the frame for the mattress. So...with our cushion top mattress that allows for a better night sleep, we are left with a totally different look.
I dont subscribe to the "beauty before comfort" mentality, so, as a whole, I am quite unhappy with the look now. Only the top row of tufting of headboard is visible, the mattress looks like it's at the same level as the top of the frame (vs a little below, like in the picture - due to the bunkie board) and the beauty of the bed is pretty much gone.
Too bad the slats are not lower so that your mattress can sit somewhat deeper in the frame and be more fitting to most of today's mattresses.

Just what we wanted
We love all things midcentury, but we wanted to go with a new bed rather than a vintage find. This one is just perfect! Looks great, very sturdy, and with the purchase of bunky boards works great with out Tempurpedic. Now the only problem is motivating ourselves to get out of it!

Sooo Comfy and stylish
I love my new bed....the delivery guys were fantastic and had it assembled in minutes. It looks just right in my apartment and the mattress very very comfy...I hate going to work! A very well designed piece that will last for a long time. Very happy

Best bed ever
Beautiful bed. Very sturdy and well constructed. Does not creak at all even if you jump on the bed. Base is made up of solid slates of what I believe may be pine wood. Looks and feel expensive and wonderful.
