Great Value
These obviously aren't solid wood, heavy bookcases, but for the money, they are a great value and the grey color looks terrific against my blue wall. I'm so happy that C&B finally went beyond espresso and white - I'm over both of those colors!

Great Purchase
Was easy to assemble. Looks modern and classic in our living room. We ordered two and placed side by side to hold all our boys' books. Delivery process went smooth.

Really cool
I am happy with this purchase. It's a cool, modern design and a nice alternative to a typical heavy bookshelf. The gray stained wood finish looks great.

Beautiful color

Could be better
WOW!!!! Easy to assemble? We made 5 attempts before finally getting it right. Nice color, looks great but what a hassle. Could be better all together.

Looks Great!
I purchased this to hold picture frames in my dining room. It was fairly simple to assemble once I figured out which way the shelves hang out. It looks absolutely fabulous and is really sturdy. It comes with an attachment to mount to the wall, but I don't think that's really necessary unless you have small children who are prone to pull things. Wonderful purchase!

Good Purchase
The product was easy to assemble, sturdy and light. As I have not owned other ladder shelfving that costs a bit less I cannot compare price vs quality, but this is a good purchase if you do so.

Excellent piece
I purchased this bookcase about 3 years ago and it still looks brand new after moving 3 times. It's sturdy, the color is beautiful, and it's a great addition to the study or livingroom. I always get compliments on it. It's a great piece of furniture for a great price. I highly recommend it.

Looks Good, Poor Quality
This bookshelf looks great...from a distance. Almost immediately after assembling it and putting it up, the wood chipped on one of the shelves. After a few months, I started noticing more a few more chips here and there as I was cleaning it. I love the look of the bookshelf, but the chipped pieces look tacky up close.

Love it!
I have two of these bookcases in my dining room and they're beautiful. The narrowest shelf is deep enough to hold things like candlesticks or small vase. I didn't bolt them to the wall and they're perfectly sturdy. Really love these.

Cheaper than expected
For the price, I shouldn't have expected it to be perfect, but I guess I wish it was a little more sturdy. Our shelves are falling apart and we just got the bookshelf 9 months ago. When we originally received the item, we received one wrong piece, so make sure you check that out before you assemble the whole thing! I have the matching bar and love that - but this wasn't what I expected.

Stylish and Useful
While building our living room, my girlfriend and I were trying to keep our furniture open (to keep the room from feeling cramped) but have a classic feel, with dark woods. These leaning book cases were perfect, especially since as bibliophiles, we needed multiple bookcases to hold all of our books.
These are affordable, easy to put together and look great. Definitely highly recommended.

perfect for a small apartment
love this item. bought 2 for a 7 foot wall in a 12 foot square living room. the stepping back makes its presence in the room not so overwhelming and makes it's projection not so close to the window. really opens up the space while still providing the upwards storage you need in a small space.
also LOVE the grey finish. very classy and modern.

Great fit for a small space
This bookcase looks fabulous in my small apartment and is of surprisingly high quality considering the price. It seems sturdier than the matching desk and has held up much better over time.

Awesome for Home Office
We have a smaller room that we are using for a home office, so we have to go "vertical" rather than "horizontal". I bought two of these, and a third that is the desk component. They were EASY to assemble, and create nice lines in the room. Also, reasonably priced.

Stylish bookcase
Great bookcase, easy to assemble and very stylish. Was also impressed how well CB packed everything. Bookcase arrived in perfect condition. Just be aware that you need to put some heavier books on the bottom shelf to stabilize it. I don't think it would tip over otherwise, but just to be sure.
