Favorite Chair
I bought one of the Bayside swivel rockers a year ago and it has become our family favorite. It is so comfortable and the quality is excellent. Even after a year of use, the cushions and the fabric have held up perfectly. We loved the chair so much that I recently bought a second one. This size of the chair is great too, it is not too large, yet deep enough to comfortably fit a taller person. I highly recommend this chair!

Most comfortable chair
shopped a long time to find a comfortable rocking chair with a small footprint for the master bedroom. This is the perfect chair. Great for reading, rocking with grandbabies, having tea. Love it

What a great chair!
I had reservations about ordering the chair without seeing it or sitting in it....but no disappointments at all. It's absolutely beautiful and the perfect addition to my study.

comfy
I'd had my eye on this chair for awhile and finally got it when we were expecting our first baby. i had hoped it would be a good chair for nursing in... which it mostly is. i wish i had gotten a chair with a higher back for head/neck support. this chair is comfy though and the swivel feature is nice, and actually great when you spend a lot of time sitting in it.

Most cozy chairs
We bought 2 of them to complete our livingroom that has two couches and an oversized coffee table. They are super comfortable so it is good to have 2 so my husband and I each have one. I also made bright colored pillows for the couches and chairs

Great for a Nursery
This chair has worked out great in our baby's nursery. The slipcover is key to reducing the stress of baby mishaps like vomit or a leaky diaper.
We also ordered the stationary ottoman. If I had to do it again, I would order the gliding ottoman. I thought I'd want to push off of a stationary ottoman, but gliding with the ottoman would be much better.

Comfort At Any Age
We purchased two of the Bayside Swivel Gleders. They are the most comfortable chairs we have ever owned. We have had so much company this summer, and the chair fits so many different sized people. I love the idea of being able to take the covers off to wash, as we have a dog, and three grandchildren. So far, though, they have not needed washed and seem very durable. We absolutely love them.

Great chair!
This chair is very comfortable and practical as well. The slide and swivel work very smoothly. I've had these chairs for 3 years and just recently replaced the slipcovers to update colors. The slipcover makes for a very versatile piece of furniture.

Great slipcover, mediocre chair
Like many others, we purchased this for a nursery. It's difficult to find a relatively attractive upholstered glider with a machine washable slipcover. The chair itself looks fine but be aware that you are paying for the slipcover (makes sense, since separate slipcovers are 50% of the price of the chair) so the chair itself isn't as high quality as you'd expect for the overall price. The mechanism routinely jams up and has to be adjusted manually, and this was a problem from day 1. Also, the cushions on this and the ottoman were too soft from day 1 with no side support so that they are getting matted down on the edges. I don't regret my purchase, but you are getting what you pay for. (Note that if you order a custom fabric, though, you'll get a better made chair - but you'll pay a lot more for it.)

Great glider for nursery!
We purchased the Bayside Swivel Glider over a year ago now for our son's nursery. It has been perfect for many nights of nursing, rocking, reading, etc. Our son is 15 months old now and we still have it in his room and use it multiple times per day every day! When he gets a little bigger we'll move it to another room and it will be a great addition to our home for many years to come! I'm considering one of the Bayside sofas also. We purchased the glider in Spruce and it looks great!! If you're planning to use this in a nursery I'd recommend getting the ottoman also - I didn't and wished many times I had it!!

Comfortable and Cozy!
I just received the Bayside Swivel/Glider today and I could not be more pleased. The chair is beautifully made and is very comfortable. I anticipate that the chair will become a favorite reading spot for years to come!

A Favorite
I bought this chair 9 years ago for my duaghter's nursery and it instantly became our go to favorite for feedings, story time and snuggle time. I sometimes slept in it more than she did with late night feedings. Another child, and many houses later, it is still my favorite. It has been in bedrooms, sitting corners and now the office and still always looks great. Cover has worn and washed very well. Great proportions for lounging comfortably!

I live in this chair
This is wonderful quality and a good value. I looked for a long time for a smaller reading chair before settling on the bayside with ottoman, and it is perfect.
If you are more than 215 pounds, this petite chair may be a little narrow for your bottom. Otherwise, I see no down side.
