My daughter really enjoy this desk
I got this for my 8 year old daughter, she is very happy with it, it is just the right size so she can spread her ipad, school homework, and keep her pen/pencils organized in all drawers

Holy Gaucamole!
Who knew a simple desk could command a room?
In all seriousness, I was looking for a replacement for another work desk that I'd owned for years; the beautiful thing about the spotlight desk is that its scale demands attention in the room; its contemporary lines create a multipurpose piece of furniture (drawing desk, dining table, computer station); and its three drawers are deep enough they provide an incredible amount of unexpected storage. For me, the perfect find -- after many long months of searching. Who knew?

Files, Drawer and Printer on Top
Saw this small cabinet on the website, and it looked sturdier than others seen. Disappointed that there was no place to look at it in person. Took a chance and bought it based on the fact that the dimensions of of the top surface would hold my printer/copier/scanner in my home office.
Unit is sturdy and solid. Drawer is slightly smaller than expected, but can still hold some supplies. File drawer can hold letter or legal size hanging folders. Delivery was swift and professional. Wish that C&B had an option to pick up item at one of their stores.

Lean, spacious and functional
This is a great desk. It's one of the few desks on the market which offers a typing surface (via the center pull out drawer) which is actually at a realistic height for proper ergonomics.
Style-wise it's also great--it's beautiful and provides a spacious workspace while taking up little space visually and that's a plus.
The only downside is that the laquer finish had a very strong smell upon delivery. Wow. I am hoping that fades soon (intense!) otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Great desk for a small space!
This desk works out great in my apartment and is very functional. I highly recommend it!
