Awesome desk, beautiful piece of art
This desk is great - hidden drawers, modern look, high-gloss finish that is difficult to scratch.
The only issue that I have with it is that if you are not careful in your chair, it can chip off the finish on the edges of this desk if you bump into it too hard. But that is really an issue with the user, and not the product, so I am not detracting any stars for that.

Holy Gaucamole!
Who knew a simple desk could command a room?
In all seriousness, I was looking for a replacement for another work desk that I'd owned for years; the beautiful thing about the spotlight desk is that its scale demands attention in the room; its contemporary lines create a multipurpose piece of furniture (drawing desk, dining table, computer station); and its three drawers are deep enough they provide an incredible amount of unexpected storage. For me, the perfect find -- after many long months of searching. Who knew?

Files, Drawer and Printer on Top
Saw this small cabinet on the website, and it looked sturdier than others seen. Disappointed that there was no place to look at it in person. Took a chance and bought it based on the fact that the dimensions of of the top surface would hold my printer/copier/scanner in my home office.
Unit is sturdy and solid. Drawer is slightly smaller than expected, but can still hold some supplies. File drawer can hold letter or legal size hanging folders. Delivery was swift and professional. Wish that C&B had an option to pick up item at one of their stores.

I feel amazing at my new desk
This desk is perfect -sleek, sexy and modern. I actually did not realize the draws were as big as they were going to be until i got it home. The draws are huge. The desk is a perfect size and height! Every chair fits perfect at it. I spend hours at my desk and still just love it. Its a very zen desk and makes me smile every time I look at it. It looks exactly like the picture online -actually even better!

Well-designed Desk
I purchased this desk to be placed in the same room as the Cubix bedroom furniture. The finish is slightly different, but the pieces still work well together. The desk has a fabulously smooth finish and is easy to clean. It provides a large work surface. The drawers are well designed and functional. I like the simple "X" design. It's simple design fits well into my contemporary decor.

Great Desk!
This desk has been a great starting piece for my study. It's design and color give a lighter, brighter look that I was wanting to achieve instead of a dark and heavy look that is so commonly found in studies. The desk top is a great, workable size and the drawers function very smoothly. I love the stylish look and the quality construction.

Beautiful, clean, classic
This desk has the storage I need, but keeps all the odds & ends hidden away, affording me a lovely clean sweep of desktop above. Before ordering, I was a bit worried that the desk might feel too big for my space, or that the finish would be too fussy. I needn't have worried. The light color, open "criss-cross" legs beneath, and sleek finish make it feel light & open in a smallish room, and the glossy finish is easy to clean. I paired it with a Folio side chair, and it's become a great at-home workspace.

Lean, spacious and functional
This is a great desk. It's one of the few desks on the market which offers a typing surface (via the center pull out drawer) which is actually at a realistic height for proper ergonomics.
Style-wise it's also great--it's beautiful and provides a spacious workspace while taking up little space visually and that's a plus.
The only downside is that the laquer finish had a very strong smell upon delivery. Wow. I am hoping that fades soon (intense!) otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Very nice desk... love the shiny finish.
I bought this desk and the credenza. Love how it all looks in my home office. I also bought the payton bookshelves and although they're a different finish, they go well in my room. The desk and credenza arrived assembled which is a huge plus. Crate & Barrel customer service is great... I had a problem with a defective shelf, they sent a replacement & it arrived assembled so I was happy they quickly corrected the problem. I would definitely recommend this desk.

Great Desk
This desk is huge! The drawers hold everything from paper clips and thumb tacks in little compartments to envelopes and paper in the large drawer. My office is so organized now with everything out of sight in the drawers. And there's ample work space for my laptop and all my papers.

Spotlight Winner
This desk has the most beautiful finish and is also made very well. My husband and I have a smaller home so we were looking for a piece of furniture that could be used in the office and as an extra dining table for dinner parties. We definitely chose the right desk because it is simply beautiful as a dining table. I would highly recommend the Spotlight to anyone that wants more bang for their buck!

Beautiful desk!
I love this desk - the function of it, the look of it, and the sleek design. I would have given it 5 stars, however, I have been delivered two defective products and am still waiting for a replacement. The defects have been minor and I am hoping that the third time will be a charm. C&B has been great throughout this replacement process so I give their Customer Service high marks.

Most Beautiful White Desk
This is the most beautiful Desk. It is very fashion forward I've even seen these desks at high end businesses. The white stands out and you can decorate it with whatever color accessories since everything goes with white. Has enough space for everything you need! Highly recommend!

Clean lines, well made
This desk is beautiful in its simplicity. It feels very sturdy and well-made (the drawers glide like silk), and the finish is very smooth. Customer service was top-notch, and called me 2-3 times prior to delivery to make sure I had all the necessary information about this purchase, and delivery was prompt and drama-free.
