Looks great and modern
We have two of these as desks in our office. Our home is an open concept so the office is visible from our modern living room/kitchen. The glass makes desks seem less stuffy like something you'd see in your office building. The legs give the tables a great look with clean lines and a modern feel. We've had them for over a year now and they are holding up great. No chips in the glass (we have two dogs, two cats and I work from home.. so this is great!) and the legs haven't been scuffed even though I kick them a lot by accident!

Looks great but wobbles
I really like the looks of this table,and it's just the right size. I'm disappointed to find that it wobbles in the long direction. For example, if you're cleaning the glass or if you bump into the short end it will rock back and forth in the long direction. It doesn't give a very solid feeling for an item priced as high as it is. I don't mind paying more for a piece of furniture if I think it will last a lifetime, but I'm not sure this table will go the distance. If you're considering this table, I recommend that try to see it in the showroom first to make sure you're satisfied that it's solid enough.

Great Dining Table
I purchased this as a dining table after having shopped for one for more than a year. I am pleased with the purchase, it has very clean lines, is great for opening up smaller spaces and seats 6 people comfortably. However, I will say that the glass scratches rather easily, I have a couple of scratches on mine now and have no idea where they came from.

Nice Addition to my Home Office
Nice looking contemporary desk but beware--glass top is very heavy to move. The only thing I did not realize is that is you use it for a computer because of the glass top, the wires below look unsightly. Don't know how well the product will hold up as I have only had it for one week. Time will tell.

Makes a great dining room table!
This table looks great in my dining room with 6 of the Folio leather chairs. I have had it for over a year now and we have had many dinners and done lots of homework on it. I can't believe how inexpensive it was! I still love it and it looks so chic!

Simple, Chic, Functional
I use this piece as a work table 95% of the time. The glass top and shape of the legs make for a very clean but definitely distinct take on a desk. The other 5% of the time, when guests or family are over, it converts easily into a dining table that can seat 6 comfortably (with 1 at each end). The fact that it works so well for both use-occasions is great for someone who doesn't have a ton of space.
(Sidenote: I paired it up with the Ripple Ivory Leather Chair for work, and the Folio Leather Chairs for dining. Both look smashing.)
I get smothered by compliments on this table, & have my eye on the bookcase next!

this is a stunner
This table has a definite ""wow" factor going for it. It makes my space feel larger and is easy to maintain. The base is like a sculpture with the glass "floating"" above it. I am using it as a dining table and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more unique table, whether for work or for dining.

Best Contemporary Dining Room Table
I gifted the Strut 70 Work Table to my father to use in his small comtemporary condo as a dining room table. The 6 black Folio chairs that I also purchased fit very comfortablely around this table, and look like they were made for each other! The stainless steel accent is beautiful, and gives it a modern/contemporary look. The thick glass top is quality, and makes the small room feel larger. He loves it, and I do too!

Beautiful Contempory Table/Desk
I purchased this desk to be used as a dining table in my small dining room and paired it with contemporary chairs from Crate and Barrel. It works very well. I am extremely happy. The combination makes the room.

Beautiful table
We are using this as a dining room table and it looks great. It's a nice size (easily fits 6 chairs), it feels really sturdy, and with the glass, it doesn't overpower our small dining room. It's a bit tough to keep it free of fingerprints, but I love it!

Just received the Strut work table 8/22/2011 . Actually purchased to use has a dinning table. sits six very comfortable. My Architectural Piece

This is why I decided to purchase the Strut :)
Ran into some flaws with the glass top but CB took care of it professionally, 3x to be exact -- excellent customer service as well. I am very happy with it and I am sure you will be too!

Just grand
This glass top desk is not just good looking but functional. I use the desk as a home office desk. I found it in Rooms & Ideas section of Crate & Barrels website. I fell in love with the look of the office space and I just had to get the desk. The desk is quite large but doesn't make the room look crammed since the glass top makes the room bigger and roomier. Best feature of this desk is that I can spread all the files I need out on to the table top and yet have space for laptop, phone, calculator, coffee and more. Just love it!

Great Table Base

Excellent table
Just a quick note to say that this is a very cool table. The minimalist look is great!
Delivery and setup was very professional and took 15 minutes tops.
I would highly recommend this product if you are sitting on the fence.
