great value/holds up well
I bought four of these chairs in 2010. The color is just perfect as the red is rich and can work with blue reds or orange reds equally. Two years later they still look new and have not lost any structural integrity. Best yet, I bought two stools in January to match and the color is spot on. WAY TO GO, CB!

Best dining chairs we've ever had!
WE LOVE OUR FOLIO DINING CHAIRS!!! We purchased them in the CHERRY color and they are simply beautiful! The chairs are a simple, understated, design, and bring an unexpected punch of color to our newly remodeled kitchen. They are comfortable, stylish, and easy to keep clean. Who could ask for more than that?

Overall Good Product
I had to return two chairs because of defective product. The bottom post (keeps a little distance from floor to leather) was broken off, which was something that could have been caught prior to shipping. How I found this out was the chair wabbled back and forth when sitting on it. It took some time, but they finally sent me a good chair. The look is superb for a modern home.

Great pop of color
I was hesitant to buy a pair of red chairs for fear that the color wasn't true to the pictures but these are fabulous. They are very comfortable and I love the sleek style.

Nice chairs, but lacks quality
I bought 6 folio chairs and 4 chocolate folio barstools, because we loved its contemporary look.
But the chairs are extremely heavy to pull out and to push in because of the steel frames. The back of the chairs and barstools are constructed such a way that, it topples over easily if you lean on it as kids often do.
More than anything, all of my chairs and barstools started peeling on the seat and at the back which is unacceptable for C&B stuff. I am working with a sales associate to get new chairs. Hope that works out.

Beautiful, but not durable
I purchased 4 Cherry Folio chairs and they are truly beautiful. However, two out of the four started to peel. Not bad at first, but then became worse as time went on. There were deep scratches (how, I have no idea). I went to the store with pictures in hand and they contacted customer service. Someone called me back within 24 hours and I forwarded the pictures. They were incredibly helpful! I purchased these chairs probably in 2008 and they replaced two with no problem whatsoever. I am noticing that one of the older chairs is starting to succumb to peeling now too. Hope the new ones are made with better leather than the old version.
Hope Crate & Barrel gets these right, because these chairs are gorgeous and extremely comfortable.

Simple Elegant
One of many C&B purchases, we have eight side chairs in cherry and three backless stools in ivory. All eleven pieces are constantly given praise for their comfort and style.

Sorry I bought these!
See my review under the Ebony Folio chair! The leather on these chairs decomposes and cracks and peels away. So far I have replaced 3 of my chairs. I have 4 different colors and love the look but can't afford to keep replacing them at $250 a pop!!!!!

Folio chairs have not held up
I have 4 of the cherry folio chairs in my dining room and loved them from the beginning. However, a little over a year having them, two out of four chairs have leather pulling up from the seat. There are scratches throughout. I have two kids, but old enough to not destroy furniture. This is unacceptable after paying $1,000 for four chairs. Hoping they'll exchange them for me.

Comfortable and Inexpensive
We bought these chairs to accommodate our older parents and our 5 year old. The chairs are great - sturdy and comfortable to please the older crowd and cleanable for the younger crowd.

Beautiful Chairs!
We love these chairs. We bought them in red for our kitchen island. They are comfortable and striking. Everytime someone new comes into our kitchen they ask us where we bought them. The only drawback is that the leather near the bottom of the legs is starting to scunch up, but I think this may be preventable with a better cap on the legs.

Accents a room perfectly!
We purchased 6 of these chairs in red for our dinning room. They are very comfortable, beautiful and accent our dining room perfectly. The chairs catch your eye as soon as you enter the room. It's a quality chair, nice leather, and they don't scratch our wood floors! I would highly recommend these chairs, especially if you like a clean, modern look or are looking to spruce up a room!

Smooth and Sleek
I purchased 6 red Folio leather chairs for my dining/ kitchen table setup which is visible from my living room. I've had the chairs about a month and they've been great; they're very sturdy and the leather covering looks and feels very luxurious. I treated them with Lexol leather conditioner as soon as they were delivered and so far I haven’t experienced any wrinkling or fading. I highly recommend these chairs.

Updated Look
We just had six of these chairs delivered. They have good lines and provide an updated look to our existing table. Seem to be a good value and are definitely attractive. We ordered the "vibrant cherry"....who knew it could look like a neutral with a bit of pizazz!?!? Nice.

Sylish and Easy to Clean
I bought these chairs 3 years ago to go with the Big Sur dining table. They've worked out very well for us. I love how stylish they are and that cleanup is a breeze (important with kids). They are comfortable, I would prefer a little more cushion but that would probably take away from the design.

Love my Red Chairs!
We ordered 4 red Folio Chairs and a round glass topped table to replace a too large dining room table and chairs and have never looked back! The quality of these chairs and their colorful appeal make them an asset to our downsized living area and we're happy to recommend them.
