Great Purchase!!
We absolutely love this piece, which now sits proudly in our dining room. While assembly is required, it's not terribly difficult, but make sure you have at least two people to put it together. Quality is top notch. Highly recommend, particularly if you don't need a large piece, but are seeking an expensive looking wine storage piece.

Our favorite wedding gift!
This was one of the first things we registered for and we are SO thankful that we got it from my mother-in-law!
It's great for small spaces and the espresso color looks great in our living room! We love this wine bar because of the multi-purpose spaces for the wine glasses, wine bottles, drawer, and extra shelving space!

Great product for the price
I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in wine storage and the units I was looking at were in the $700 - $1000 range. I purchased this unit for ~$300 and couldn't be happier with it. I put it together myself. The quality is excellent. I was worried that my large wine glasses wouldn't all fit, but they did. There is wine storage for 15 bottles which is nice. I would definitely recommend this product. It is a steal at this price.

Survived an earthquake
I was very happy with my purchase; it's great bar storage and looks and fits great in my apartment. I was even more happy with it after the 5.8 magnitude earthquake in the DC area. I live on the top floor of my building and the fully stocked (with glasses and bottles) bar stands on carpet, but I have it mounted on the wall. After the earthquake, none of the bottles had fallen and none of the glasses (even the ones on the high shelves) had broken. I suspect the wall mounting was key to it abosrbing the shaking. So over all, it's a sturdy piece.

Love at first sight!
I bought this as a "congrats on your first grow-up job" gift to myself. I drink a lot of wine, but I thought it was tacky to just have it sitting on my counter. This piece is beautiful, doesn't take up a lot of space and is a great conversation starter because of the slant. The only regret I have is not buying the matching bookcase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's absolutely fabulous.

Amazing gift
I bought this for my daugher and future son in law for their "bar shower". I had it delivered to their apartment and it was there when they said it would be. Although there was a broken piece it was replaced quickly and they love the "bar". I would highly recommend this as a great gift or addition to your own home.

Best Bar EVER
I purchased this bar a few months back & LOVE it! It is sleek and modern and the best part is that you can add the shelving to it as you need to grow your bar area. We recently moved and will be purchasing the coordinating bookcase now that we have more room! I would highly reccommend this item!

Great Purchase, but one piece was incorrect
This wine bar looks terrific in our apartment. It is small enough that it doesn't intrude on too much space, but has enough storage capacity to be really useful. The wood finish is terrific. I took maybe 1/2 an hour to put together with two people and was relatively easy.
The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the bottom support piece was cut incorrectly - the holes for the screws were switched around. We had to glue the bottom support piece on because we could not attach it with screws. The glue worked, but clearly that was not what we expected from a $300 product!!! We even had another friend come look at the piece and try to attach it - just to get another perspective - and they agreed that the holes had not been cut properly.
Overall though, this is a great product.

Not worth the money
I am not happy with this purchase at all, I couldn't return it fast enough. The workmanship was ok however the pre drilled holes and slats were not aligned properly.

Love the Leaning Bar
This was a great purchase. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble it alone once delivered. It's the perfect size for my condo and holds lots of glasses and bottles.
The mahogany matches the mahogany table I purchased elsewhere perfectly, lending to a real polished look in my dining room. I have a tall (14-foot) wall on which it sits. It gives it presence and finishes the room nicely. Well worth the price!

Buy This Bar!
Waiting for this bar and 2 bookcases on backorder was worth it. Easy to assemble alone (except for securing it to the wall). It looks great and makes you want to entertain! Everyone who enters my home loves it as much as I do. The assembled pieces add style to the room without that "crowded space" feeling. Want something simple, elegant, and different? Buy this bar!

sloane leaning bookcase
I bought three shelving units. They were easy to assemble and they look great. They have a nice wood finish and I put them between 2 sofas and they make a nice wall accent piece.

the finish has held up and it's the perfect size for a small wine bar in a living rooom. really like it & would recommend!

Elegant product, hours of assembly
Compared to most C & B products, this one was especially affordable considering the look & quality of the bookcases & desk once completed. HUGE problem, for me, is the length of assembly time and the unbelievably wasteful packaging that this comes in . . . 6 separate boxes, literally dozens of pieces and more styrofoam than you can imagine . . . would have paid an extra $100 to have someone assemble & deliver it, given how annoying it was to dispose of all the materials. About 4 hours of assembly time. The desk is large enough & sturdy enough to fit a 26" flat screen TV plus a laptop and/or notebook (i.e. plenty of room to work if used as a home office set-up).

Overall good product
Overall the product is good. The shipping was pretty fast. Assembly was easy. The descriptions say it fits a laptop just fine but I’ve actually been able to fit my Mac desktop on it. I do have some concerns about it falling over. Soon, hopefully, I’ll attach the wall things. Great product! Looks really nice and the price is AWESOME!

Very nice
Assembly wasn't bad, it's quite sturdy when put together and looks nice in the dining room. In retrospect, I'd rather not have my wine glasses hanging upside down and the drawer is smaller than expected, but overall a great product that I'm happy with.

Great peice
The Sloane leaning Wine bar look great in my dining room. While my room was not large enough for all 3 pieces, the bar and one bookcase are an attractive addition to the room. Very easy to setup as well.

Easy & Elegant
It took a little while for the piece to ship, however, when it arrived, it was easy to put together. Everything was labeled and the only thing we needed was a screwdriver. The picture is true to the actual piece. It is sturdy and looks very elegant. We may change the drawer pull on it since the one that comes with it is a little plain. It can only hold a standard bottle of wine, no large bottles. We are very happy with our purchase!

Handsome & Inexpensive
Liked the bookcases when I saw them in the catalog and liked them even more when I saw them in the store. They were delivered in three days and packaged beautifully. After reading the instructions they were a snap to put together and attach to each other. They make a handsome statement in the room and now that our things are on them they have helped make our house a home.
