Very Happy
Love my table. Wanted a Rustic yet Modern looking table and this fit the bill at a great price. Dining Chairs are from another store but work well with the beautiful wood color of this table. Delivery was smooth and quick.

Warm and cozy
We purchased the entire Basque honey line for our dining room / living room in a small country house. The furniture immediately lent warmth to the rooms, and tied together our downstairs. The hutch is large and the shelves accommodate bottles, glasses and platters of all sizes.
Our only concern has been the ease with which the surfaces scratch. To eliminate this, we have ordered glass for the coffee and end tables and placed cushions on all the chairs.

Love this table
We looked for over a year to replace the table we had for over 30 years. This was the first table both my husband and I loved. We did debate on getting the 104. I'm so glad we did, we love that there is room for the grandkids at the table!
The quality and finish is beautiful. We have had it over a year with no problem or complaints. It is as beutiful as the day it was delivered.

The only table you will EVER need
The Basque Dining table is the most durable yet beautiful table you could ever ask for. We have the 104" table and it serves not only as a dining table, but also as a lessons table for our 3 home-schooled children. This table has lasted through 2 rough boys and a houseful of pets. Simply wipe with some beeswax paste and it looks brand new once again. This was the best purchase our family has ever made.

As beautiful in our home as in the catalog!
I fell in love with this table when I first saw it in the store over five years ago. We were able to purchase it after Christmas this year, and when it was delivered, I was thrilled to see that it is as beautiful, as sturdy, as unique as I had imagined.
The delivery took about 6 weeks since it was out of stock when we ordered the table, but since the store had told us 8-12 weeks, we were thrilled when we received it!

Perfect finish to my kitchen
We just built a new house and purchase this table, with 6 chairs, the bench and a matching buffet. It is the perfect collection and a "statement" piece. I LOVE it!

We love this table. It is gorgeous and well constructed. It does scratch sort of easily, but I think that will add to its character over time.

Awesome brunches!
We love having people over for brunch and this table can fit a lot of friends. It has a great farm house feel to it, and yet it fits well the contemporary style of our house. We once sat 17 people for brunch around this table! It was a little tight but fun. I have this table for 4 years now and still love every bit of it, and it is still looking beautiful. If you like having many friends in your table - this one is perfect for you.

Great semi large table
When this piece arrived I thought it would be bigger. I love the table but it really seats 8 comfortably and you can squeeze in 12. I wish it came in an even larger size. The table, and al the basque furniture, scratches easily. So if you have a dog who likes to put their paws on the table or kids who will be playing with plastic toys, I suggest looking into something else or making sure they don't get near it. However, because of the honey stain and wax finish, rubbing a walnut over the scratch makes it look like part of the original look of the table.

beautiful table
I purchased the basque 104" table about a year ago and overall I'm pleased with my purchase. I love the grain and finish of the mango wood and the style of the table compliments any decor. My husband loves the wide, solid chairs. The only negative thing I have to say about the table is it scratches easily (I have 3 kids). I haven't yet tried to wax the table so the scratches may come out with a good wax. However, because the table is so well made and has a rustic style, it still looks beautiful despite the scratches.

Purchased our Basque 104" table in Honey nearly 8 years ago. Seats 10 and in a pinch, 12, with 2 seats at each end of the table. We joke that the table is so durable and substantial that it would withstand a tornado and remain in place. We certainly won't be needing to replace it any time soon! We use it primarily for more formal dining or when the sheer number of people present demand it- so moderate use. There have been a few light scratches to the surface but occasional waxing eliminates these enough that they are not clearly visible. With the interesting piecing and occasional pegs visible across the surface of the table, there is plenty of interest to detract from the occasional scratch. Styling is versatile and would fit in most traditional, classic or soft contemporary style homes.

Timeless
I've had this table for 2 years now. I love it just as much now as I did the first day they took it off the truck. I have the 104" in honey with six chairs and one bench. I have seven children ages 11 years down to 3 months. Enough said. This table has held up beautifully! With how many spills, messes and down right out disasters this table has endured you wouldn't even know it by looking at it. This table cleans up like a dream with just a damp cloth. This is by far my most favorite piece of furniture in the house. I'm sorry but some of these negative reviewers are just too high maintenance for my taste. If you're looking for a table that'll walk on water for you good luck with that! I look forward to passing this table on for generations. Thank you Crate and Barrel!

Love it
I bought the table in Honey and 4 side chairs. I purchased a cushioned chair for the ends. The chairs match perfectly. The set is sturdy. My only issue is it scratches very easily but it is rustic so no biggie. The table is top quality and exactly what we had been looking for. A few weeks in, one of my chairs cracked and they immediately ordered me a replacement. The customer service at Crate and Barrell is the absolute best. They never question. If your chairs don't match - ask if you can get new ones.

Great Table
Just purchased the honey table. Originally was trying to decide between the java and honey. I wanted dark, but was discouraged by the java reviews(white scratches on a dark surface). This table came in darker then it was in the store and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful finish and design. I love the heaviness of the chairs and bench, too. Highly recommend this set!

Too Dark
I'd like to start by saying that Crate & Barrel customer service is impressive.
I saw this table in the store and thought the Honey finish was gorgeous. I ordered the 84" table. It looked great, but I decided something larger would look better.
CB allowed me to exchange it for the 104" table. However, when the 104" table was delivered to my house, it was very dark. I thought it looked more like Java than Honey.
I exchanged it for another 104" table, but it was also very dark. I was very disappointed. CB allowed me to return the table.

Gorgeous table
Don't be deterred by the warnings (though they are thoughtful and appropriate). This is a solid, well-made piece of furniture, and the irregularities are nothing to be worried about. The surface is composed of wood pieces, attached (seemingly) by pressure, adhesive, and (in some instances) joints, as evidenced by inlaid pegs. The finish color is attractive, warm and rich. If you're not looking for formal perfection, I predict you will quickly grow to love this table.I hestitated making a major purchase via the Internet of a large item like this. My fears were ungrounded. I am so glad to have this table.

Beautiful but delicate
If you so much as set your car keys on this table, it will scratch. We have the 104" Java and it is a stunning piece of furniture, but it is simply not "finished" to be a piece of working furniture. We are furious about this because we love the look and size. I'm going to have to shellack it like a bar top
