Really great table
This is a fantastic table. its versatile enough to put in a kitchen or a dining room. The surface almost looks like its made of just 2 planks of wood (even though theres actually more), its just so well crafted you cant really tell. texture is amazing, and i think, for this price it can't really be beat. Only downside is that we found it difficult to match chairs to this exact shade of wood, but they're out there if you're willing to search. (or just choose contrasting ones). overall a great buy, and highly recommended table. As others have mentioned here, be sure to inquire about the right kind of sealant protection in order to maintain the quality of this wood.

Beautiful table
The table arrived last week, and we love it. The instructions provided upon purchase explain how to care for the table and to use beeswax, and the customer service rep who called to schedule the delivery explained this as well. The instructions are provided via email, on the phone, and in writing upon delivery. The table looks like it was handcrafted by a furniture expert, and truly has the look and feel of a rustic, or reclaimed wood. I believe it's an excellent value as well, compared to the tables we were considering from other places.

stunning
Contemporary but with an earthy feel. Ordered the cocoa Epoch chairs to go with it....they look amazing with the table and as the chair backs are fairly low, the beauty of the table is not obscured.

rustic, beautiful table
I just bought this table 1 week ago with the chocolate Folio chairs. It is GORGEOUS with different variations of color due to the fuming effect.
The table's wood seems to be in its natural state and does not come "sealed." When I called C&B, they suggested Liberon natural beeswax with turpentine to seal the table and protect it against any spills. (This might help the previous reviewer).
