Lovely but delicate finish
I bought this table along with the Oslo sideboard and six white scoop chairs. It looks fabulous! I love the mid-century modern look and the dark walnut finish. The problem is that the finish seems to be getting scratched and nicked.......and I haven't even used the table yet!! I really don't want to have to keep a tablecloth or cover on it because what's the point of having a pretty table if you keep it covered?
For the style alone I would give it 5 stars, but it needs to be durable as well.

Love this table!
We bought the Oslo table for the dining room in our new house and absolutely love the slightly modern, simple design and the walnut finish. We also purchased six black Village chairs for the contrast and they look great together. Our dining room is now complete.

Lovely simple modern table!
As soon as the Oslo table was delivered and placed in my dining room, I fell in love with it! It's sleek slim modern legs really make the table unique and matched my chairs perfectly. I bought the Rojo Tall cabinet last year which is in the dining room as well and both pieces compliment each other. Always happy with the quality and originality of the furniture pieces that Crate & Barrell sell, great store.

Not a good family table
I love the look of this table but have been very disappointed in it. Within the first several weeks the table had numerous scratches and knicks. The chairs I bought made big dents in the edge of the table! The veneer is too soft and cannot take any wear and tear. I called CB to explain the situation and have been very impressed with the customer service. They are taking the table back and giving me a full refund! I continue to love CB. This was just not a good fit for our family.

We ordered the table and sideboard, and both pieces are amazing! The finish on the wood is beautiful, and the stain is a perfect warm walnut color. We are thrilled with our purchase.
