Love this table!
This table was exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, great look. Crate and Barrel never disappoints.

Great Freaking Table!
I have a very small dining/reading area, so this table works perfectly as I can make it as small as almost nothing, bigger for two person dining, or large enough to seat six. And I was amazed at the quality for the price! I added rubber bumpers to the leaves that fold down to keep them from making noise when it's not raised, which I highly recommend you do. But it is perfect for me!

Perfect for Small Spaces
This is the first furniture piece we bought for our new apartment. We needed something small, since it'll be in the corner of our living space (the dining room converted into an office). The local store had in stocked, so we snatched it up real quick & drove home very slowly with the trunk opened! Packaged perfectly C&B style, we got it home in pristine condition. Love how it can fold away, and look stylish. Half opened, it's a nice square cafe sized table perfect to seat 2 or 3, & when opened up can easily seat 4 or more!
Side note, we have plush carpeting, so the table leans a bit down at it's current state of being opened halfway. Crossing our fingers that the carpet will settle

Great so far
I loved the way I thought this trunk would fit into our home. Its elegant and understated but eye catching at the same time. The wood seems to be high quality. We've had it about 2 weeks and are pleased thus far. I like that this would be "claasy" storage for any future kiddie toys. Seems like a better solution than plastic tubs

excellent purchase
Perfect table for additional dining seating when needed. I use it as a 'behind the sofa table' and bring it out for larger dinner parties. Stable and great quality.

Very good for the money
Great table for our small apartment. Sometimes I feel like I don't want to put too much pressure at the end of the table, because of the design. Even though I know it will be fine. The only issue is when one side is down, and you are using the table, the side that is down tends to rattle or bang on the leg of the table.

Great Table for Small Spaces!
I absolutely love this table! I have very limited space in my condo and wanted to avoid making it look cluttered with furniture. This table is perfect because it can be collapsed into a slim console that can easily be tucked against a wall when not in use. It is actually a full-size dining table when expanded and can easily accommodate four. I highly recommend this table as an attractive solution when space is a challenge.

Great table for small spaces
This table was much more substantial than I expected. Plenty of room for 4 or more people when expanded, but takes up very little room when folded down. Just right as an entryway table.

love this table
Love , Love , Love this table. It is heavy and very sturdy. Love the finish, I bought Expresso. I am going to use it for my craft room. When not in use, I can fold it away. Large work area. Easy to open and close. Very well put together. Can open half if you want. Says seating for 4, I think you can get 6 comfortably.

A great purchase for a small apt
Can't really say enough about this table.
Pros: If you have a small apartment, this is a great buy. It's a sturdy and versatile piece of furniture. You can fold down both leaves to create a room divider when not in use, fold up one leaf to comfortably seat two, or fold up both leaves and comfortably seat four (you might be able to squeeze six in if you really like one another...)
Cons: The finish chips somewhat easily, especially on the corners.
All in all, a good purchase for the money.

Very versatile table - good value
I got this table as an add-on to my exisiting dining room table for when I need extra seating. It is a great value for the money because it offers versatility and still looks stylish. Most of the time, I use it as a hallway table. I also like that you can use it 1/2 up. In a small apt it would be great. I gave it only 4 stars because I am noticing the veneer is not as sturdy as I'd hoped, but I'm still quite happy with the purchase due to its function.

Versatility with style
This is one of the greatest products I've purchased! As a new condo owner with limited space, the gateleg table is a perfect fit for me. It is durable and adds a bit of elegance to our living room. We use it as an end table during the week and take it out on the weekends for dinners or parties (for all of you college kids out there, it works great as a pong table!). I highly recommend this table and it is worth the investment.

Great Table with Flexibility!
I bought this table for everyday use for just my boyfriend and I, but I love that I can open it up and fit dinner guests around the table too. This table is a great design that allows you to seat more people without feeling like your mom's dining room table. I think the design is super sleek, well made, and great for small spaces. I also love that if I upgrade and all of a sudden find myself with more space, this table will store away reasonable easily as an extra.

Stylish and Extremely Functional
I cannot tell you how many times this table has paid for itself due to its convenience and usability. Having a folding table that spaciously accommodates six people, easily seats up to 8, and folds down to a 9.5-inch-wide footprint is incredible.
Since buying it two Thanksgivings ago, I have used it for every party as either a modern urban dining table, a buffet for large gathering, or a sizable flat surface for Game Night ever since. It’s so versatile that I probably use it 3-4 times a month for various events and then tuck it away almost invisibly next to my couch. During the day it goes unnoticed, but I get compliments on it’s striking design and convenient functionality whenever I use it.

Perfect For Small Spaces
We just moved into a new place, and didn't think it was going to be possible to have a dining table to host our family and friends. This table is perfect!! By day, it takes up practically no space at all, and serves as a small place to put our keys and nick-knacks. Then, by night, we unfold it into a beautiful dining space for dinners. We are so happy with the purchase, and would highly recommend to anyone who has a limited space in their home or apartment!

Very useful for small spaces
My husband and I purchased this table for our 1,000 square foot apartment. Prior to this purchase, we had to resort to sitting around the coffee table for dinner parties, which was not ideal. This was the perfect purchase for our small space. I was even able to use it as a work space from time to time. Now that we have moved to a house, it continues to work well in our space. We keep it folded out full time now as it stays in our dining room and we love it! It seats six well, but four gets a little awkward with the spacing and the legs in the middle of the table, but that is to be expected with this kind of space saving purchase.

average buy
Span is convenient buy when you lack space. It is not stable at all when it is fully open.

great for tight space!
we have had this for about a year and it has proven to be a good purchase for us. we have moved apartments and because of its versatility we can always make it work in the dining space. it's nice that we can leave it half up for us, expand it for company, or completely close it down to clean our floors. the color is nice, too! looks more expensive than it costs. only downside is it can feel a bit wobbly, but i accept that since it's a gateleg.
