Excellent Desk
I have been on the lookout for a compact but high quality desk and this is exactly what I was looking for. It is extremely well-made, requires no set-up whatsoever, and looks perfect in the space we have for it both as a desk as well as an end table. Lots of different drawers and shelves for organization. My only critique so far is that the level of the keyboard/laptop space is a bit high (can hurt your back after a long period of time sitting) but that could just be me. Overall, I have been VERY happy with this purchase.

A great purchase
I live in an apartment and wanted a desk that doesn't take up too much space and most of all that is capable of concealing the 20+ wires on my Dell computer. Now for the first time I can walk into a living room where all I see of the computer is the monitor and two speakers -- all wires can be threaded out the back of the desk and the keyboard drawer is inside the desk with the front panels closed. It is a beautiful piece and every inch functional. I could wish for a little more surface space--note the dimensions--but I am perfectly satisfied because of the streamlined look of it. You won't be disappointed.

very impressed
This cabinet is beautiful, very well-built and looks great in our home office. We are going to have to buy a new printer, because our old one is a little too big for the printer space, but we're OK with that. We highly recommend it!

Great Piece - attractive, functional, & well made!
I love this desk!!
I received it last week after seeing it online and considering the purchase for a month. It has exceeded my expectations in quality and functionality.
It is an extremely well-made and well-designed piece of furniture. It is so refreshing in this day and age to be able to purchase something off the shelf at a reasonable price that is so functional.
The designers thought of everything! Everything about the desk feels solid. The pull out drawers glide smoothly. The cut-outs for power cords are all in the right spot.
It is extremely attractive and very nice nice wood.
We live a 2-bedroom condo and one of the bedrooms is being transitioned from office to nursery, so we needed to get creative about what to do with "the office." This desk is the perfect solution. It doesn't even look like we have an office in the living room.
Well done to the designers of this piece!
Additionally, everything about the purchasing process -- from my initial calls to customer service to inquire about interior dimensions, to scheduling the delivery, the actual delivery, and subsequent follow-up -- were all handled very professionally by Crate and Barrel.
I'm so pleased all-around with this purchase that I just ordered a 2nd one for my husband.

Love it
I'm a big fan of the incognito office. I love it!
It looks a little darker in my room than in the picture online, which I think is good. It is a perfect match for the Ethan Allan Horizon bedroom set that we have.
The keyboard/laptop tray pulls out really far - this is really good. Looks like about 18 inches. It is far enough out that you can sit at it all day and not fee like you need to stretch out your legs. The piece has little feet so there is room to fit the front of your feet under the desk a little. This is good for me as I have a bad knee and I can't sit at 90 degrees for very long.
I use the desk all day every day and close it up at night.
The printer tray/space is big enough for a full sized printer. We have a Cannon Pixa MP610 in there. With the tray pulled out (It pulls out maybe 10 inches) I can open the printer lid far enough for it to stay open - so I can load things for scanning.
The whole thing looks great and feels very well put together.

looks good
I think that the desk looks nice. Sliding doors would've been nice instead of the doors that swing out. Also I would've liked the desk/keyboard tray to lock somehow when it is pulled out because this really is your desk area. It is the only way to get you legs under it, and I thought it could've been more sturdy.

Great purchase but..
I just bought this in Mocha (in Canada) for my 900 square foot condo in downtown Toronto. I love everything about it except that the designers seemed to forget that anyone buying this piece probably has space constraints and needs something compact. However, you need 18 inches of clearance space on both sides of the desk for the doors to clear and tuck back while you are working which is a LOT of space in a condo. They could have easily made the doors bi-fold so they tucked down to less than 10 inches, or they could have had them slide back along each side of the desk (although the rails might be unsightly). Other than that, great desk and well made - would love a matching file cabinet and bookcase to go with it!

A Nice Solution Indeed
In spaces all too small, this compact office fits the bill. My computer and printer store nicely in their appropriate spaces with spaces for commonly used professional reference books and files. I like the spaces for my other thingys (i.e., pens, paper clips, thumb drives, etc.). Simply splendid compact space I now have.

Happy in Poulsbo!!
We have small spaces so I was looking for a computer/office arrangement that I could have easy access to, be compact, yet have storage and room for the printer, files, etc. I couldn't believe it when I found this from Crate and Barrel. It is well made, beautiful and stores just about everything. But the best part is you can close it up and it looks like a beautiful storage buffet. I love it! Worth every dollar spent.
