So much space!
I bought the desk, book case and credenza from this group. The credenza is fantastic. I like the versatility of the file cabinet drawers, which can be used as storage. The design on the front fools the eye: are there 2 or four openings? do they pull out or swing open? The piece is really great and can house extra office necessities like ink in the top drawers and heavier stuff in the bottom (or use as filing). What I also like is the piece is compact and holds it on on slight walls as well as generous ones.

Gorgeous and functional
I love this piece! It is sleek and beautiful, and versatile in its style. I was totally amazed with the quality of its construction, how smoothly and solidly the drawers move. I love the small top drawers, too, which add great functionality and storage. We are using this piece, and all its accompanying pieces (which are equally well made and designed) in a space that integrates a music room with a study, and they are elegant and clean and versatile in decorating options.

classy and organized
I needed a filing system in my great room that did not appear to be an ordinary file cabinet. Often people do not even know it is for files and it's size/ capacity is perfect for the running of an average family "business". The only draw back is it's weight. It would be nice if the drawers came out so it could be moved in pieces to decrease the weight-- make sure the delivery folks put it where you want to keep it for life!

Versatile piece
I bought this for my home office because I wanted a nice piece of furniture to house my files, and not your typical unattractive office file cabinet. Well, with this purchase I got the best of both worlds. This piece is well made with clever and sleek detailing on the front. If I ever give up my home office, I can use this in any other room of my home for storage.

Beautiful piece!!
I purchased this credenza for my new home office. It is such a handsome piece of furniture. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. It arrived in a very large box and packaged extremely well. Very happy with my purchase!!

Spotlight Ebony Credenza
This is a very versatile piece of furniture. As a designer I can see using this piece in any number of rooms and not necessarily as a file cabinet. For small dining areas. use it as a small serving piece or buffet. For bedrooms it can serve as a night stand. I use a pair side by side in my home office but I can see them in other settings. They are well worth my investment.

beautiful and organized
I've been coveting this piece for a while and just recently decided to bite the bullet. I had grown tired of the disorganized madness that was my office. this piece is absolutely beautiful in my space. it's a super heavy piece so definitely have the movers place it for you. it has a great retro contemporary feel without going theme room on you. and bonus, it holds tons of hanging files. I really like that it doesn't actually "look" like a traditional file cabinet. one of the reasons why I wanted this piece.

Practical
Yes this serves as file drawers, but it has big drawers above the file areas and they make this piece totally practical, in addition to having a great surface for TV and other things. Perfect! Thanks, C+B:)

Very Proud of Outcome
We purchased the ebony Spotlight desk and credenza three or four years ago for my husband's home office. Recently, we added a second Spotlight credenza and the matching bookcase. It's a small room but, with the openness of the desk and bookcase, and with the sleek credenzas lined up side by side, the room does not look over-crowded. And there's enough storage space to put away all the office paraphernalia and files. I'm truly pleased with the look of the furniture and the room. Our four little dogs seem to like it, too, as they slip in there when they need a peaceful escape.

Great looking
I purchased the Spotlight desk, credenza, and bookcase for my husband's in-home office in the fall. He loved it! The furniture is handsome, has clean lines, and is heavy. The drawers and doors work well. However after a few months we had a problem with the desk top and credenze top splitting. I called Crate and Barrel and after reviewing pictures of the problem, they agreed to replace both items . I am very impressed with their service and delivery.

Perfect companion piece
I got this with my spotlight desk to organize and declutter my home office. It holds lots of stuff and looks so sleek and elegant no one would ever know the chaos it contains. I absolutely love it!

Stylish credenza
I purchased the Spotlight credenza, along with the matching desk, for my home office. This piece was chosen as much for its design as for the storage. I didn't want traditional, office-style furniture at home. Great piece!
