Star of the living room
This console is both beautiful and functional. The slatted doors let you easily change the channel without opening the door. Very well made with a sturdy beautiful detailed design!

Well worth the money!
We purchased the marin media console & it was everything that we were looking for! It is a beautiful piece of furniture that properly vents the stereo, so that they don't overheat.

Very nice
This console (58") was perfect size for our television, with lots of space for our other components and things. With two of the bookcases, this fits perfectly in our off-size space for an entertainment center. We have gotten several compliments on it.

Modern and Functional
This worked out perfectly for us. We have a 52" TV wall mounted above it and many gaming components fit inside of this unit. The slatted front lets everything breathe and the remotes work perfectly with the doors closed. Totally love it. It appears to be heirloom quality, very solid. I woudn't be surprised if it lasted a lifetime. I need to come up with a good solution to quickly dust the slats though. My swiffer gets snagged on it too easily.

love it
Very beautiful piece of furniture. This houses all of my home theater equipment along with a laptop and miscellaneous items. I love the fact that you don't have to open any doors for the remote to work or see any of the equipment ....I have my center speaker on the upper shelf which you can't see and it works out great. One thing that I had to do was to cut out a larger hole in the back panel of the console so my receiver would fit. No big deal and is more an issue with my large receiver than the furniture itself.

a new family member!
this piece was just delivered, and it already feels "like family." it is solid and well-balanced, beautiful to look at without that NEW, strange feeling. it's an excellent addition to our home, which is filled with carefully selected furniture. it takes a LOT to become a member of THIS family!!!

Perfect Entertainment Console
The most amazing aspect of this piece is the wood itself. It is so beautiful and rich - the slight variation in color of the wood adds depth and character. It is well-built and very solid. The slat-style front makes it easy to access electronics inside via remote control. There's plenty of space in the back to organize cords. It's low maintenance and absolutely stunning!

Ideal console
We had been looking for several weeks for a media console to hold a 46" TV, plus 8 components. We had searched all local furniture stores, online, etc. and found few sensible designs for our needs. A friend suggested we look at Crate & Barrell and there we found our ideal console. We bought it sight unseen, as our local store did not have it on display, but we were able to see other pieces in this collection to see the type of wood and the quality of construction. The console fits the space perfectly, holds all our components, has excellent ventilation, and is a very striking piece of hand crafted furniture. We couldn't be more pleased with our selection.

great media unit
We purchased this unit for our home and it is a great unit.
The lattice in the front allows the components to breathe and not get hot, it is set up to hold plenty of comnponents. The wood is beautiful and an added bonus was that our 18 month old grandson could not figure out how to open it! Love the unit.

Beautiful console
I purchased this console after searching everywhere to find something that was less expensive. I couldn't find anything that matched the look and quality. Yes, it did have a strong odor that smelled a lot like Old Bay seasoning minus the blue crabs. Customer service was great offering me some tips on how to disperse the odor and offered numerous times to take the piece back. I, however, loved it so I did the baking soda and opened windows and the smell did go away. I get a lot of compliments and people love the look and the utility of the piece with the door slats that allow easy use of the remote control. Love it!

Excellent product
We purchased this for a storage solution in a small condo and have been very very impressed with this product. It is very strong and the dove tail construction is impressive.
We had an accident where one of our window blinds feel down and gouged the wood, which turned out to not be that bad. We contacted marie yee who guided us on how to treat the damage and future care.
We ended up buying two more pieces to our satisfaction, really like this designer.

A piece of art
The quality of this in incredible. Evidently they read reviews and fix problems because I have a very sensitive nose and didn't notice any bad smell. I noticed a very slight wood smell. Kind of like a cedar chest but different since it's elm. The very faint smell went away after a couple weeks. I was actually disappointed. The joinery on this is beautiful. Everything lines up perfectly. You can tell they thought about each piece of wood and made sure it was placed with just the right amount of variance in color. I hesitated on this purchase because of the cost, but I have absolutely NO regrets!
