Exactly what we wanted!
We love this media console. We were looking for something "rustic" yet modern and this fits the bill. It's a solid, well-made piece of furniture. The wood has character, the stain color is beautiful. We couldn't be more happy with the look of this piece!

Not the ordinary
I was looking for something that I hadn't seen in every furiture showroom online and in town. This item went on sale and I snapped it up. The only issue we had was with our components getting hot in the center compartment behind the glass. We replaced the glass with some audio screen and it looks even better than when it was delivered. I don't know why more audio cabinets don't include audio screen or fabric instead of glass or solid doors.

Awesome
We love this media console. After shopping for months we decided on this one and would not change it for any other. Extremely well built and crafted. Excellent finish and great look. Only draw back is the the shelf was just a bit narrow for our cable box so we had to prop it up a bit. Also the small holes in the back do not allow enough air in or out to keep the electronics cool. The back (which you will not see) is well built that it makes it hard to try to alter it. I am going to have a larger hole cut in the back to allow more air flow.

Attractive, Sturdy and Functional
The console was perfect for our 55" flat screen. It is attractive, solid and sturdy, and functional. It has the appearance of an old cultural piece without looking decrepit. It is a nice dark chocolate color and is pretty true to color as the picture online. The brass door knobs are a little darker and grayer then the picture online.
The three cabinet areas have plenty of room for all the extra electronic components. We were able to put a cable box on the top shelf, and an XBox and Wii on the bottom shelf of the center cabinet without any problems. We would have liked an extra shelf to put in the center for an additional tech item, but it is fine without.
We were pleased to see pre-drilled holes in not only the back of the center cabinet, but on each shelf, and between each of the cabinets. Very helpful to route and hide all the cords.
We ordered this piece online and since we live more then 100 miles from the closest shipping point it took about a month from date of order to arrival at our door.

Well-built, some minor issues
This is a great piece that is solid and has a nice finish. Since looks are subjective, I'll get right to the two minor issues I have with it:
- I didn't pay attention to the "hasp" closures before purchasing. While they look nice, they are very tight and must be used to keep the doors closed. Their tightness means that they tend to rub against the wood of the doors/cabinet, leaving small marks.
- Depending on your A/V equipment, there may be little room to connect cables to the back of each component. I have a receiver in this cabinet (Onkyo 606) and I had to purchase right angle adapters for all connections that I use to get the receiver to fit and still allow the door to close. An extra 2" of depth would have resolved this issue.
Knowing these issues beforehand, I still would have purchased this console. I like the style and wanted to avoid a console where the A/V equipment was on display.
