one little problem
I love this cabinet. It is the color and size I have been searching for. Delivery was smooth. However, the pins for the shelves do not fit in the holes. I called and received new pins but they do not fit either. I now have to call back and have a new cabinet shipped. I worry that the holes in the new cabinet will be the same size as the one I have. I am considering drilling the holes a little bigger myself but am nervous about doing this...but I do love the cabinet.

Beautiful Cabinet!
This is an absolutely beautiful Media Cabinent. It is very versatile and can be used for a TV or be used in any part of the house as an accent piece. Absolutely love the Navy Blue color and the soft yellow interior. I am looking forward to using this piece in my home for a very long time. I am very pleased with the product and purchase! Delivery was outstanding as well!

Perfect fit!!
Looking for a moderate sized sideboard/hutch was proving difficult. I wandered through store after store, looked on the web but could find nothing suitable for my moderate sized home. What I kept finding was the 5-6 foot long behemoth versions obviously meant for much larger homes than mine. So I finally decided I would never find such a thing and gave up looking.
One afternoon I ran by Crate and Barrel for something completely different and walked straight into this piece. It is a perfect fit, the color is deep enough it can be used for contrast or as a blend in piece. It's a great mix of old school and modern - again that wonderful blend which creates interest in a room. As typical of Crate and Barrel the quality of the furniture is top notch. It took me less than 15 minutes to purchase and arrange for it to be delivered to my home.
The delivery men were prompt, called about 10 minutes before arriving, and in less than 20 minutes had the hutch unwrapped and in place.
I am wonderfully pleased with this purchase.

Simply the Best
This cabinet was selected after a long search to replace a 40 year old "media stand" with great sentimental value. The design is a perfect fit for the components and strikes a dramatic flair for the living room - which is now my library- music retreat - The design and color offers a striking "home" for years of collected LPs of old and newly acquired CDs - an eclectic piece that bridges the transition of my early days and comfortable foray into an up-to-date statement of my very own furniture collection and layout. Thanks for this functional, yet classy media center.

Blue skies
The Calais Royal Cabinet arrived carefully packed and in perfect condition. Excellent quality and the perfect cabinet for our entry area. The blue is a little darker than we expected based on the color presented online but it is still beautiful. We love it! The customer service following the purchase was outstanding - thank you.

Beautiful
I purchased as a media stand for my 40" tv and it fits perfectly. Just note that this is a little taller than a traditional media console, but it's exactly what I was looking for. Agree with previous review that the color is nuanced, with a subtle distressed look. Also has very convenient cutouts in the back for cords. You can see the two at the bottom in the photo; there are two open slots at the top that serve the same function. Well built, solid, beautiful piece that I hope to have for years!

Luminous Finish, Gorgeous
The finish on this piece has to be seen in person to appreciate. The light really plays off of it. The blue has a lot of nuance to it, it is not a flat or stark color.
Be sure to look at the last image of the drawer; it is the closest to actual color.
