Good - but smelly!!
The piece of furniture itself is nice, looks good, put together easily... but the lacquer or whatever they treated the wood with has a really strong and toxic smell. I'm pregnant and I have to be honest, I'm a little fearful of just how much the thing stunk up our house.
We've had new wood floors installed and the treatment process of those didn't stink up the house half as bad as this one piece of furniture.
Still a nice piece, just going to take some time to get rid of the smell that came with it.

Just the right size
We have a small living area and a 26" TV, so this beautiful Arts and Crafts console is the perfect size to store our DVDs, DVD player and Bose radio. I love the way the cabinet doors glide so smoothly and quietly, the wood grain is beautiful and the hardware authentic. It matches perfectly with the Landon book cabinet we also purchased at Crate and Barrel. Our sales person also recommended a local vendor to assemble the console in our home and he was just as professional and friendly as they were. We couldn't be happier with our purchase!

a nice piece
We bought this media cabinet to replace a much larger piece and we're very happy with it. It was easy to put together and all of our TV/stereo components fit nicely into it.

Excellent tv stand
I purchased this to replace a Crate & Barrel corner unit that I had been very please with. I had moved, and a corner unit was no longer appropriate. The Landon went together very easily and is very sturdy. I highly recommend this tv stand.

Great Media Console
Purchased this piece last January and absolutely love it. It was a little difficult to put together by myself, but not terrible. It is the perfect size for the living room and really compliments the decor. The wood is even nicer than I thought it would be, the doors slide easily - all in all a very solid piece of furniture I will enjoy for years to come.

Not worth the money
After having an Apple TV sitting on top of this media center, the wood deteriorates from the heat. The surface is separating from the underlying wood.

Very nice TV console
The Landon TV console is a really nice piece of furniture and was easily assembled in 30 minutes or so with 2 of us doing it. The doors slide very nicely and it looks like a more expensive piece of furniture than it is. The big holes in the back make it quite easy to run the cords.

Perfect Console for Us
The Crate and Barrel staff was very courteous and what they said would happen- happened. The media console arrived as advertised in excellent condition and with all its parts. It went together easily with level glass doors that slide smoothly. It was a pleasure ordering this product without any hassles, and receiving good quality furniture.

Decent console for price
We like the design of the media console as well as the dark mahogany color. Assembly was not too bad other than missing screw holes and divider piece that looked different than on instructions. But it went together pretty easily. One issue is that top was damaged on the side revealing a pressed wood substance inside. I would have returned, but it was mostly assembled by the time I saw the damage. Could have stained damaged area if it was real wood, but not sure how to address the small "chunk" taken out of the edge of the top. The box did not look damaged, so makes me think the piece can be easily scarred. Overall, nice piece for the price. But I will hesitate to order something from C&B again that must be put together.

Better in Person
Was looking for a nice console to match our stickley mission style couch. This was perfect... better quality and color than any others we looked at. Took about an hour to put together ( for my husband :) )but worth it. Looks more expensive then what it was. Would definitely recommend it.

Probably will be nice if we can put it together
This is now the 3rd review on here where screw holes were missing. We ordered this piece a few days ago, and started to put it together, however not only did we receive the wrong instructions showing the partition to look completely different than what was received, but the partition is missing the 3 screw holes to screw into the base. We do not have a drill and cannot screw the holes ourselves. We're waiting now for a replacement piece to be delivered later this week. In the meantime, it's taking up space in our living room half assembled until the piece arrives. I'll amend this review depending on if we receive the correct piece with the necessary holes. If we get a 2nd wrong piece, I'm afraid this is going to go back.

Not quite perfect
This piece is very attractive. It's solid and looks like well made furniture. Assembling it was a bit tricky, especially since some of the drill holes were missing. Doors were well made and very easy to install and remove if necessary. A great addition to my family room once I was able to put it together.

Outstanding Classic Media Center
We ordered the Landon Media Console for our living room to store all of our media components (DVD, DVR, gaming consoles, and surround sound receiver). It was able to hold all of the components, but still has a pretty small footprint. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture, and it has a very classic design that makes it timeless. Also, the color is deep and rich. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a media stand with a classic design.

Great cabinet, wrong color
We searched for quite a while to find a media cabinet. This one is much heavier and more sturdy than those we saw at most other stores. This is our second furniture purchase from Crate and Barrell, the first piece came assembled this one required full assembly. Since the pieces are heavy it took us some time to put it together and it was missing some holes for a few screws so we had to drill three pilot holes. I wish it had come assembled. The only other drawback was the color. In the store this oak piece was a medium brown--ours is very, very dark, almost a mahogany color which I found disappointing. The craftsman style is very nice and unusual for a media cabinet and the television looks nice on top, and safe. Only because of the assmembly required and the color do I rate this a four.

Great media console
We purchased this item after viewing it in the store. The color is beautiful and it looks very well made. Only one glitch after it was assembled - one of the sliding doors rubbed. We promptly exchanged it and the new one is great. Wonderful customer service, as always.

A good product
The console was easy to assemble, and looks attractive. I like that the doors slide side-to-side rather than opening - great for my small living room. However, the doors slide loosely, and can come out of the track kind of easily, so they need to be treated gently.

So perfect!
My husband and I had been eyeing this cabinet for the last year. We were in the store one day and asked about the cabinet and the store employee let us know that it would be on sale soon. We were there the day the sale started! The cabinet was easy to assemble and looks just beautiful in our Craftsman style family room.
