Great nightstands
We've had 2 of these nightstands for a year now and they are very functional and solid. I like how I can put a book in the open space underneath and still have the top of the nightstand for a lamp, water, my cellphone and alarm clock. The drawers snap shut and are very solid. I haven't tried to pick this piece up like the other reviewer, but the bottom is VERY heavy as it is solid wood. I could see how if lifting it by the little top piece the rest might break (it's REALLY heavy.. seriously.. it's HEAVY.. did I say it's heavy?). I would definitely have two people move this by the bottom or have professional movers move it when you move. This whole suite of furniture is extremely solid and heavy. Oh, and the top piece is solid too, but it's 5% of the weight probably...

Poor Duaribility
Beautiful night stand and color- however NOT practical. Immediately upon unboxing, I picked up the night stand to move it and ripped the entire top and backing off- they are only secured to the back with glue and wood inlets/slats. No screws. Even if I got this replaced, I'm afraid when I move the movers would do the same thing.

Small, but looks good
This nightstand was a little bit smaller than what I was hoping for. The ledge is great to store things you need quickly while keeping it somewhat hidden for less clutter. I do feel that it's a little bit pricy for what it is. I like the appearance of it, and would definitely recommend it. We also got the matching dresser.

Great style
I purchased 2 these nightstands online recently after having seen them in the showroom. The online process was very easy and convenient. Great style and lines. Love the open shelve above the drawers. Self closing feature a real plus.
