Simone is a delight to sleep with
The Simone daybed had the right dimensions for my home office and the style worked. Now that it has arrived ( a month earlier than expected) I have to change my opinion. It not only fits and looks good, it is very well made and exceptionally comfortable. The fabric is stylish, attractive and durable. As a second bed I have no doubt my guests will be comfortable. I am delighted with this purchase and as always with the friendliness of all with whom I've dealt at C & B.

Family Fight!!
So, we bought this as another seating option for our family room. We needed something with scale and without a back as it was going to be in the middle of a room. Needless to say, we are blown away by the quality of the fabrics, the construction and the comfort.
In fact, we have to time share who gets to sit on it or lay on it when we watch TV. My wife LOVES reading while lying on it, and our guests feel instantly at home sitting on it.
This has been one of the best purchases for our new home!

Marvelous Sleeper
Bought for a reading nook and often find that I fall asleep before finishing a chapter. Very comfortable and quite durable. Bought in the "berry" and it always looks great. Highly recommend.

Great Flexibility
We bought this for our new addition, didn't have the "visual space" for a full sofa (with a back) or a sectional.
We love how it's wide enough for two to lay next to eachother...nice classy lines...
The only drawback is that there's only one stock color...need to offer 2 or 3 options for stock colors like their other furniture does so a customer doesn't have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery...

One of my favorites
My husband and I had our eye on this piece for about four years and just recently purchased it. It lived up to our expectations. It is so comfortable and big enough for the two of us to lay on together for reading or sipping our morning coffee. Great purchase! No regrets.

Lovely Bed & Sofa Too

Durable and looks great after 6+ years!!
We were looking for a nice daybed that can serve as sofa and/or bed for a room so that we can use the room as a living room or bedroom when needed. After quite a bit of search, we had found this one in our local C&B store and we ordered two right away. It is now more than 6 years but they still look very nice and are very comfortable. I have not seen anything comparable anywhere else; some things you can only find at C&B!! We are very happy with the purchase.

More Than Happy
The Simone Daybed came home with me about six months ago. It has been used as the sick bed, napping youngsters bed, leave me read my book bed, and cats who own the house battle ground. It has worked great for all these purposes. I keep twin sheets on the main cushion (cat protection) and it is always ready for a quick nap or a cuddle. I use pretty pillows along the back as I have it against a wall at this time but the side arm pillows also fit perfectly along the back or can be removed if you like a cleaner look. I am more tha happy with this fabulous purchase.

good, not great
I bought this day bed less than a year ago and have struggled with the cushion for this day bed. The cushion cover is terrible and the piping around the cushion is always twisted. Trying to straighten the seams, ( piping) is not easy. Worse of all, the cushion is sagging. This day bed is in an area where it does not get a lot of use. Sadly, it looks the the most used peice of furniture in my place. I was disappointed in the quality. First time I have been disappointed in a Crate & Barrel purchase.

Great Purchase
I bought this daybed over 5 years ago and it still looks great. This piece of furniture has moved with me several times and has been part of a bedroom, living room, and office. I'm choosing to write this review now because my 70 pound dog recently had an accident on it. Thinking it was ruined I decided to take off the cushion cover and put it in the washer and dryer as a last resort. Luckily it looked brand new and did not shrink. This is a great piece of furniture it you have children or dogs. Small spills also wash up great with a wet rag. It's well worth the price.

Want to love, but can't
This daybed looks amazing. It is very versatile and functional. The price is reasonable. However, the cushion is awful. It started sagging in the middle within the first day of having it. I am 130 lbs, so I am surprised that this is happening already. I have had the daybed for 3 months now and it is hard to get comfortable because it is so uneven. Very disappointing. So I probably wouldn't recommend the piece if you want it for daily use watching TV. Bummer.

Disappointing, but nice to look at
I have had this day bed for about a year now and within the first few months the cushions were already worn and completely lost their firmness. Where you sit a permanent indent is left. This is surprising considering I don't even weigh 110lbs, no children jumping on it, and the sofa gets light use. I should have heeded the warnings from the other reviews. They need to improve the quality of the this sofa already. Besides that, it is beautiful to look at, if only it was comfortable for my guests to sit on.

Curl Up With a Book
I have a nook in my living room with 3 large windows. This piece fit perfectly in this area and makes a relaxing place to read a book, watch TV and nap. So comfy and brought great additional seating to the room for when we have guests. We loved the option of custom fabric too.

Comfy
We love this daybed! It's a great size for our room. Whenever company comes over, they seem to prefer sitting on that piece than our other couch and sofa! Our twin sheets fit great on it when guests spend the night and prefer to sleep downstairs....rather than the actual bed!

The perfect place to psychoanalyze yourself!
I got Simone day bed a year ago in blue velvet. Since then it is in my studio. The making and the materials are exceptional. The lines unmatched: understated but elegant. The level of comfort is wonderful if used to read or to sleep. I have considered purchasing a second Simone day bed for my office, where psychoanalysis is the guest of honor. In short, excellent purchase!

Makes a great couch
I bought this daybed to use as a couch. I put the pillows up against the wall and voila! it's a couch. It's very comfortable and roomy. Delivery took several weeks but that was expected as I ordered it in one of the Stock Plus colors.

Great Piece
Recently moved to a new house with a challenging space that is living room/family room/dining room essentially as one long room. Created a sitting room area with this Simone daybed, the Clara chair and an older C&B chair. Looks great, my wife (and Pug) love it for reading.
