Nice, but not without issues
I am a huge fan of Crate & Barrel, and I have purchased a lot of their furniture up until now. I purchased the Paterson White Two-Door Cabinet to use as a bookshelf because I have an all-white look going on (full set of Cubix, Spotlight White Desk, Harworth Very White Task Chair, etc. - all from C&B). This cabinet looks very nice and functions well, but the only problem is the finish. As opposed to the other pieces of furniture, which have a high-gloss white finish, the white lacquer finish of this piece attracts scratches like a magnet. I have a cat with claws, but none of my other furniture shows scratching whatsoever; however, this piece will randomly get scratched on the face of it for no apparent reason (the cat cannot walk on a vertical surface, so it isn't him). I do not have any kids yet either, so it is literally a mystery how this thing is getting scratched (even within the first month of purchase). The bad part about the scratching is that the scratches are all black, as if 0.000001mm beneath the finish is a dark surface or something. This makes them stand out like a sore thumb. Because I am somewhat of a perfectionist, this drives me bonkers... however, if you aren't bothered by small details, then I would highly recommend this piece.

Love!
Recently purchased this to house some barware and wine in my dining room. Super easy to put together. Solid construction . So happy with it that I ordered another for the same room to put my entertaining pieces in!

new favorite piece of furniture
We love the additional space this cabinet gives our kitchen! It is exactly what we wanted. It was very easy to assemble and the price is very reasonable. High quality furniture from Crate and Barrel.

Great addition!
Love this cabinet! Added the space we needed to display kitchenware. My husband says "it looks like it belongs in our kitchen". He didn't have any problems putting it together. The only problem we did have was with the holes for the hardware. The holes were drilled lower on one door than the other door. He was able to adjust the holes so we could add hardware that better suited our kitchen. I would have preferred less space in between shelves and gotten a fourth shelf. Very glad we made this purchase.

Paterson White Two-Door Cabinet
Good quality cabinet.
Easy to put together and looks great when assembled. I'm considering buying a second one.
It does smell bad for the 1st few weeks, but that smell has now disappeared.
Very happy with the purchase.

Great Value!
I own the older version of this cabinet (different handles) from about 2 yrs. ago. It's a great addition to our living room. I use it to store some books and have baskets in it to hold some of the kids toys. That makes the toys more accessible for the kids, but also makes it easy to tidy up afterward with the toys out of sight.
I just wish you would bring back the tall narrow Paterson cabinet...I could really use that right now! It would be perfect for my needs. Love that you carry white furniture- my fave!!
