We received this as a wedding gift, and we love it! It stays out on our counter all the time, and it looks great doing it, while also being very sturdy and solid.

Worth the price
It was purchased as a gift for the cooker in the house (take a guess); and it was a welcome addition to the kitchen! All around good quality/feel for the price.

Perfect for veggies & bread
I've been wanting a wood-grain cutting board for several years now. We received this one as an engagement gift from a close friend. Love this cutting board! It is perfect for cutting vegetables and bread, and as others mentioned, you could use it to serve your guests.
I would refrain from cutting meats, fish or poultry on this board, but otherwise, it works perfectly. It has a good weight to it, although it's not too heavy, and balances perfectly, which works for any surface.

Piece of Art
This cutting board is well-crafted. I use it daily for chopping and also occasionally for serving cheeses and fruit. This is a piece you could leave out on the counter.

Weird smell?
I love the look of this cutting board. I have had it for a while but haven't really used it yet because it smells kind of funky to me. Not sure if it is just the smell of the wood, or if it picked up an odd odor in storage? It smells like some kind of material...but it's just made of wood, so I'm not convinced of what the odor is. It's not super terrible, it just makes me a little uneasy about preparing food on it. I'm giving it a little time to air out before use. Some new items do have distinctive smells, so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Love,Love,Love!!!!!!! This cutting board looks beautiful and love that it is footed. I have bought many cutting boards in the past and was always diappointed within a month, others have cracked mildewed and not attractive.This one is awesome durable and looks awesome. I keep mine out on my counter top always.!!! Definetly buy the oil with it, it preseves the color of the wood! A MUST HAVE!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Great Addition to the Registry
My now-husband really wanted this on our registry. I was skeptical at first as I didn't think we had the counter space, but it has now turned into one of my favorite wedding presents. It looks beautiful on our counter and is incredibly easy to clean with soap and water. We use it daily and it still looks great.

Great addition to our new kitchen!
We bought this cutting board for our new home and it not only looks great but the end-grain design (which I had to look up online) means that we'll probably have it forever! The size is great, too - great for cutting a number of different vegetables at once :) Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous
This chopping board is beautiful. It has been sitting on my counter since I received it! I love how sturdy the feet are. Definitely purchase the wood and bamboo oil to keep it hydrated.

Gorgeous Chopping Board
I am a Pastry Chef and absolutely LOVE this chopping board. I've never owned an end grain board before and have always heard that it is much better for your knives because it gives under the blade more. After using this board for a week I am absolutely thrilled with it.
The design and color is beautiful. The color does start to fade a bit with use but if you apply the cutting board oil (which is also sold at crate and barrel) it comes right back to life. This is really an excellent piece of equipment and is beautiful to boot. I even served a charcuterie dish off of it.

great quality
My parents bought this for me for a house warming present. Best thing ever. I use it all the time for all my prep work in the kitchen. Very durable, easy clean up and looks fabulous. Everyone that comes into our home loves it and wants one of their own.

the only thing is you need to add oil to it, otherwise the color will look faded.

If you are looking for a cutting board that will stay on your counter and look good, last, handle every-day needs, cleans easily and makes you feel like a professional chef... look no further. This board looks awesome becasue of the pieces of wood as well as the variation in color. It's a easy clean with water and dish soap. I use it DAILY, actually, several times daily. The weight of the board prevents sliping or any kind of movement. It looks fab on my counter. Because I use it so frequently I oil it will the natural wood oil that C&B sells. Seriously consider getting this product, you won't be dissapointed.

Good Wood!
We got this as a wedding gift and just love it! Heavy enough to keep from sliding around and just lovely looking. We had a lighter one, which is great for portability, but this is a much more solid option. Recommend!
