Perfect for a couples
This is the perfect item for a couple who likes their steak prepared differently. I'm medium- well and he's medium-rare. When my husband suggested this for our registry I thought it was silly. I was wrong. I love this tool! He uses it on both steaks to keep the juices in and then leaves it on my so they both come off the grill at the same time at our preferred temperatures.

No complaints
I love this handy tool. Have used it for pressing bacon, steaks, and burgers. The seasoning on it is better than anything I could have tried on my own. I never thought I would find myself really wanting to own or use a grill press and now I can say I love it and I wish I had owned one earlier.

Lodge Caston Iron Grill Press
This item is well made and is far superior than most others including the celebrity endorsed versions that do not meet up to the Lodge standard of quality. It is excellent for bacon and burgers. For burgers, you can press just enough to ensure intimate contact with the grill, but not too much to squeeze out the needed juices found in the burger which are essential for flavor and moistness. This product lives up to its reputation.

Love this thing!
This has changed my world! Great for panini sandwiches on the grill pan, bagels, grilled cheese. you name it! We have gotten a lot of use out of this press.
It is cast iron, so quite heavy. Also we don't wash it with soap and water often. being cast iron you want to "season" it. However when you do wash it be sure to dry it right away as it will get rust quickly.

Multiple Uses :)
We bought this to orginally use on our grill, but we find ourselves using it more than just for grilling. Helps to make the best panini sandwiches and evening for pressing tofu on the grill/skillet to make it nice and crispy!
