Polder ® Folding Shopping Cart is rated 4.0952 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute & Compact, but that's it If you only have a few groceries or a short shopping list, then this little cart might be good for you. If not, and you need to fit several bags, then you need something else. I rarely used my cart, and after a few uses both wheels snapped off, one at a time, and then the connection bar broke apart from the main section. C&B has really great customer care, but sometimes the product just isn't up to par and it's better to just cut your losses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I have had this cart with green liner (not insulated and no lid) for 4 almost years. I love it. Closes easily, swivels plus light weight strength. Cart does not take up much elevator room in our condo. I push, not pull the cart unless going up hill. I place the 'heavest' items toward the handle, not the front, and it will not flip forward. If there is a large crack etc., I swivel it around easily and pull it over the obstacle then swivel forward again. It holds 4 large paper grocery bags easily. Residents here are amazed when I load it with groceries. I am 77+ and can lift it right into my car trunk or in front of the back seat without effort. Cart with a full load, is also easy to pull up steps. Everywhere I go with this cart, people ask where it was purchased. I wanted a new liner (only for color) but only available in insulated which takes up too much room. I should have ordered additional liners when purchased. The 4 yr. old liner is still in perfect condition. If you are over 5.5" it is best to pull the cart, not push.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this is the one! if you're looking for a convenient cart, this is it.it's lightweight, folds itself~~no searching forhidden levers, holds several big bags of groceries, etc. and, (this at some point is best of all!) itcomes assembled. pull it out of the box and start using it!plus, it's good looking (chic?) and easy to pull even over snow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My cart, right or wrong. I am now purchasing my fifth and sixth carts. I have been reusing the liners. The cart is a great size, very light, and much easier to maneuver than those of the past. Why am I ordering two more? Because I abuse them terribly. I use the cart every day to carry my various things that I need to and from work, or weekend getaway, etc. I am unable to lift heavy things, so I divide my "stuff" into several tote bags that are each light enough to lift. The cart must go through revolving doors, up and down steps, through the streets regardless of weather or terrain. They last a reasonable time unless you drop it down a full flight of cement/concrete stairs as I did which broke one of the struts. I am ordering the additional carts because I am currently using my last one, and cannot be without it. It has helped me immeasurably, and I have not come across any potential competitors for the spot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does no one know how to use a cart I'm reading all of these stories of people breaking the little wheels and getting stuck and flipping over the cart....and I'm killing myself - you DON'T PUSH IT! you PULL IT!!! The little wheels are there for balance in a stationary position, not meant to take the weight of a full cart in motion. These carts are pulled on two wheels.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I really wanted to love it I received this gift off of my registry and was so excited to use it for grocery shopping! Unfortunately, any weight (we tested it with about 10 lbs) causes the wheels to stop turning. Not meant for trekking on city sidewalks or uneven ground. It was completely impractical and I ended up having to drag it, instead of pushing it. Again, I wanted to love it, but ended up returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I was looking for a nice cart that would collapse down when not in use. I wanted something that I could take to the farmer's market and other outdoor type events. This one is perfect! It was just what I was looking for. It's a nice weight cart that is easy to collapse. The rear tires are a bit larger to maneuver through dirt and grass. The front wheels rotate around so it helps make it easy to control on concrete. I love that the handle has a comfort rubber grip so its easy to push or pull around in summer. I end up putting around 20 lbs of items in the cart and it holds up great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from it's size I bought this cart a few months ago along with the cart insert. Too pricey. I kept the cart but returned the insert, it would not stay in the cart and the cover would flip up so groceries were exposed in bad weather. The cart will tilt over very easily and is not made to turn or go over rough payment without nearly upsetting..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cart to haul groceries I purchased this cart about a year ago to help me carry my groceries to and from my car and this is a great basket. It holds my items well. It's not too big and it's not too small. It fits perfectly in the trunk of my car. The only thing is that one of the legs broke a few months after I got it but I took it back to the store and they replaced it with no hassle. I think it was just that one defective cart because the replacement cart works great and has sustained anything I put in it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge Disappointment I had a cart very much like this for years. I got it at the Container Store, and it lasted for ages and ages. The only thing I didn't like about it was the wheels. The front ones didn't swivel, and the back ones kept falling off.So when I found this one, I was thrilled! Finally, my fave cart--with swivel wheels! Well, not so fast. The tiny front wheels caught in every itty-bitty crack, pitching the entire cart forward with no warning. I fell over it more than once when this happened. It's impossible to roll it over anything less than a perfectly glass-smooth surface. How many sidewalks are like that? When I'd fold it to take it on the train or bus, the front wheels would fold past the back ones, and the whole thing would lock up. It would take two minutes of prying and fumbling to get it straightened out.THEN, the final straw: Using it only the fifth or sixth time, the front wheels snagged on a not-very-large crack in the sidewalk and they both broke off!! Both of them!! I had to call a cab to get home with my groceries. I was SO annoyed. Luckily, I got a store credit at C&B.I'm headed back to the Container Store to get one of the oldies with big, non-swiveling wheels. Spend your money on a better model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Consider your height & the streets you walk on I bought this because I wanted something with a wider base than most two-wheel carts. It has that & I can load it up pretty well. But I agree with another reviewer that the handle is SHORT. (I'm 5'8" with long arms & I have to hunch over.) Weighted down, the cart does better on sidewalks than it does without weight. The back wheels just seem better than the front (to the point of my dragging it on two wheels when it's weighted enough). I live close enough to the grocery store to be willing to put up with it, but it would be problematic for longer walks over bad sidewalks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I bought this several months ago for my elderly mother and she loves it. It's lightweight which makes it super easy for her to load into the car and to maneuver. And even though it is made of lighter materials, it's still very sturdy and holds up wonderfully. I would highly recommend this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy. I love this little cart! It's lightweight, easy to move around and store and holds a lot more than I thought it would.
