Simple essential
How did I ever do without this lightweight glass carafe? Having clean, dust-free water within arm's reach from my bed simplifies pill-taking before bedtime and upon waking. If I'm thirsty during the night, there's no stumbling to the kitchen. I feel like a better hostess if my guest has a bedside carafe, too.
My only concern is the durability of the very thin drinking glass; I won't be surprised when it breaks. I hope replacements are available for purchase.

Great item for guest rooms
My mother-in-law lived with us for a few months and every night before bed, I filled this up for her with filtered water and brought it to her bedroom. It's a nice item to have available for guests and is easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Perfect for Bedside
I bought this for my bedside table and just love it. I just moved from a ranch to a 2 story home and it so nice to have that upstairs and I don't have to run downstairs to get water at night.
I also love that the glass was designed to fit over the top so nothing can get in the water. Great invention!

Great little Carafe
I purchased this carafe and I love the modern look and design of it. My only complaint is the glass is a little thin so you have to be very careful when washing it.

Bedside Carafe
Although I would rate the sleek and modern design 5 stars, the functionaily is far less superior. With no pour spout, any liquids being poured from the carafe into the cup spills down the sides creating a mess to clean up every time it is used.

Loved it and then the glass broke
I saw this and wanted it for a long time for my beside table and for guests. I used it for about a week until I noticed that the glass had cracked! I love the delicate nature of the pitcher but the glass should be made of stronger stuff and replacement glasses should be sold.

Love it, broke glass but replaced it fo for $.95!!
My boyfriend loved this as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, I broke the glass that comes with it about a month after I got it for him. But I found a replacement part for less than a dollar through Crate & Barrel!!
The replacement glass is very similar, but has rings around it and seems more durable. It fits perfectly, and you can't tell that it's even a replacement. I replaced the broken glass with the Crate & Barrel 7 oz. RIngs Juice Glass:

Great item for bedside
I absolutely love this and purchased 4 for each of my bedrooms. The only complaint I have is the glass is extremely thin. You're almost afraid to remove and replace it because it could be too hard and the glass would break. Looks great on nightstand and keeps the unsightly plastic cups from my kids room. Just be careful and consider buying an extra glass (Rings 7oz).

Great Idea, but breaks easily
This is a great idea and I LOVE it. I bought it for my husband because he always has these ugly plastic cups on his nightstand & in the bathroom - drives me crazy & drives him crazy that I am always removing them. This was the perfect solution to the problem - something beautiful that he could keep water in & the cup could even keep "cooties" out of the water - Perfect! The really bad part is that only after about a month, he was taking the cup off the top to drink some water and sat the cup down on our granite countertop in our bathroom and the glass shattered! :o*( I am so disappointed that the glass is not very sturdy at all. If it was made better it would have gotten all 5 stars though. I am going to ask for another one for Christmas - hopefully he will not sit it in the bathroom anymore.

Useful!
I must have water by my bed for during the night when I get thirsty. This keeps the water fresh, especially with a dog in the room.

GREAT ACCENT PIECE
TO VERY HONEST, I HAVEN'T USED THE CARAFE YET, BUT I DID PLACE IT IN OUR OFFICE AS AN ACCENT PIECE AND HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS. CAN'T WAIT TO ACTUALLY USE IT.

When I first registered for this bedside carafe (two, actually), I went back and forth...keep them on or remove them? I loved the idea but wondered how different this would be than say, a stainless steel water bottle. I am glad I left them on, and that we received them because the one-unit design is great, and cold water takes refreshing from tumbler: clean. The reason I gave it 4 stars? The tumbler feels fragile, thin. What do I do when it comes time to replace it, as I feel it inevitably will?

practical
I have a medical condition and I have to take my medication so early in the morning and this carafe makes it easier on me to take my medication but keep it on my nightstand so i dont have to get out of bed, and then try falling a sleep again, i practically stay sleeping now the entire time.
