Affordable Luxury
Decades ago, I owned a Wolfard oil lamp -- a classic design that holds the oil in a round vial within a blown-glass tube. Unfortunately, I somehow lost it when I moved across the country. But the Pixie candleholder reminds me of the Wolfard, and it's much easier to use. I paired it with the clear-cupped tea lights also sold by C&B.
They're beautiful on the mantle or on the dining room table for a touch of everyday luxury.

Looked at for a long time
I finally made this purchase after looking at these pixie tea lights for quite a while. Finally caved to my "want" and glad glad I did! The pair looks great with the other glass I have set up on my sideboard. Happy with my purchase!!

Love this!
I bought the Pixie Candleholder along with the Trix and Piper Candleholders to use in a grouping. They make a really nice statement together. This one, though, is by far my favorite. I love the shape inside of the glass. It's so playful and fun. Next I am going to try putting something inside the glass!

Fun & Funky, but a bit small...
It is a bit on the small side and definitely requires a few candles around it to make it stand out. Alone, it is just too small. With mutliple candles aroudn it though it looks awesome and fantastic - we love it! Very unique style and lots of fun!

Used at a Reheasal Dinner
I filled the inside holder with colored water and added a cork and then poured sand in the hurricane added shells for a beach themed party. I, also, filled the inside holder from the bottom with sand and corked and put colored water inside the hurricane. Everyone was very impressed with how great they looked.

Great for centerpiece
I bought a few of these and staggered them on my dining table for a centerpiece. It looked gorgeous!

Super Fragile - They ALL Break
I put these beautiful candleholders on my xmas list 2 years ago... broke one when unwrapping it! I can't say how many of these have broken! Then I keep rebuying it hoping something will change. Nope. I currently have a set of 2. One of which is broken.

Disappointed
I looked forward to lighting up the 3
tealights that I had purchased, but had
2 of them break almost immediately.

BE CAREFUL
These are a truly charming design, but very, very fragile. One of the two I purchased broke wrapped in paper in the bag before I ever got to use it. Have a care! The insubstantial glass breaks into a million small pieces!!

very pretty
i bough this and an few of the other pieces from this collection and have them in a few places throughout my dining room and living room. they look awesome when lit. packaging and shipping were great. no complaints. i light them almost every day.

extremely disappointed
Beautiful design and just a lovely
product. However, cleaning it, my
hand pushed right through the bottom
of it. The glass is so thin and weak.

Best Centerpiece Ever
I bought several of these to use in my wedding reception centerpieces. They look gorgeous and I am VERY happy with them. They are VERY FRAGILE and I would suggest that you inspect every one upon receiving them in the mail to make sure that they are not broken. Well worth the money.

Always Pleased
The items I have received from Crate and Barrel are and always have been extremely exciting to get. The quality is amazing and am always happy with the delivery of the items as they are packed very well.

Extremely poor quality
I bought all the different designs last Christmas as they were reasonably priced and I loved the design. However, all 5 broke within the first 2 weeks. Some because they couldn't handle the heat, some because they were made unevenly and fell. I'm a huge fan of candles so I've had several glass designs over the years from different makers. I can with confidence say that these were the worst quality glass I have ever experienced.

Beautiful and Affordable
I'll echo the remarks of the other reviewers by saying these candleholders are beautiful, especially when the tealights are lit and sparkling away. They do seem to be delicate, so I'm handling them with care.
The only trouble I had when picking these out at the store was trying to find a pair that matched, meaning that were the same height. There are slight individual differences, I guess because they're handblown and, really, they're only 10 bucks. So they're not substantial, but they are a great buy.

Style
This candleholder truly has a classical style that would fit with any style decor. It was the right touch for my 1950s ranch. Pairing it with a clear-burning tealight cast a soft soothing light for my livingroom.

Gorgeous!
Bought two of these to go with the piper holders for my son and Dtr-in-law's rehersal dinner,and were they ever elegant! Got plenty of compliments, and now they look gorgeous in their new home!! You will not be disappionted. The inside is a bit fragile-I just purchased a replacement for one that got fractured during moving, but its an affordable replacement! ;-)
