Broke before I even used it
This is a lovely carafe if you are a very delicate and careful person. Unfortunately, I am not and it broke in my hands as I washed it for the first time. C&B kindly sent me a refund within 1 week.

Sleek and Modern
Great to keep a bottle of red wine in this decanter to breathe and look great on a dining room table. Love to entertain with this piece!

Too fragile
This carafe is extremely fragile and broke when I handled it, even before I had a chance to put in wine.

Super Cute for Entertaining
I received two of these as part of a gift from my registry. They're really cute and we plan to use to serve water, wine, and tea at the table. One was broken at the top when I got it but the customer service staff was very nice and easily replaced it! Seems like it might be kind of easy to break near the top so just be careful! I think they're definitely worth the price though!

looks good but doesn't last!
i got 1 of these carafes for a wedding present. i loved the look & had a lot of uses for it! unfortunately, it broke easily. i would only recommend this if you're willing to treat it delicately.

Great for milk
I don't really drink wine! But i love using this to serve milk when i serve my friends! It reminds me to the olden days :)

Very functional
This is a wonderful carafe, it has so many uses other then wine, I've used it for water, tea, lemonade and various fruit juices. It's very simple and elegant and looks good with any table setting weather it be a family dinner or a fancy dinner party. You can't beat the price either i'm looking forward to purchasing another one for when we have lots of people over for a party!

Gift Carafe
I was looking for a carafe as a gift and I stumbled across this one and bought two, actually. They are great as wine carafes, but also just as perfect holding tea and lemonade at parties. Plus they are inexpensive so if one were to break, it would be easily replaced.

Shoddy Delivery
My husband and I purchased this carafe, among other assorted glassware, as a wedding gift for our friends. Nearly 1/4 of the glassware was broken upon delivery.

Functional and beautiful
You cannot beat the price on this beautiful product. Very decorative on the table. I use it for wine or water with lemons and limes.

elegant, yet practical
This is a beautifully shaped carafe, and the quality looks as great holding it in my hands as it did in the catalog. It's elegant for use in fancy or casual entertaining -- for ice water or ice tea or sangria. The only thing I would change is that I wish it was a bit bigger. This is the perfect size for 2-3 people, tho.

Sleek and beautiful
I really like this carafe. It is sleek and looks so nice filled with orange juice, wine or even ice water. I was expecting it to be a little bit bigger, but that was my own fault for not realizing the size. It is a good size for 3-4 people.

Love this Look
Living in Italy made me accustomed to having carafes of water and wine on the table at every dinner. After returning to the states, I missed the casual elegance. This carafe is almost ridiculously affordable, and it adds just the right touch to any dinner table or dinner party. I can't stand seeing cartons of juice, milk, or other beverages at the table, even at a casual meal, so this is a must-have for me.

Multiple Uses
I purchased this piece with thoughts of brunches in our new breakfast nook -- the table filled with indulgent treats & eats, including homemade mimosas served from the Vinny Carafe. Since we usually do brunches out and the OJ is typically poured straight from the carton, this piece wasn't getting much practical use. However, I recently began pulling it out because I simply love the design and have discovered joy in its multiple uses: sweet tea pitcher (my husband is the only one who drinks it), wine decanter, occasional vase and it's great for serving the deliciousness that is poured from my juicer. Solid buy!
