The Story

Heat-resistant to 800 degrees, this reversible ceramic stone is a natural for grilling or baking crispy pizza or tortillas. Reversible stone has a ribbed side for burgers, steaks and poultry. Even heat distribution cooks without hotspots, duplicating the effect of a brick-lined pizza oven. Season stone by lightly coating the surface with vegetable oil. The more the stone is used, the more seasoned it will become, enhancing the flavor of foods and developing non-stick properties. With use, the stone will darken naturally over time. Cleaning it with hot water and a grill brush while still hot will preserve the seasoning; a more thorough cleaning with hot water and soap or in the dishwasher will require re-seasoning with vegetable oil spray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stone After purchasing our second stone - the first one was accidentally ruined when placed on a plastic grill table (who puts plastic on a grill??) - we are very pleased with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I bought this stone after our old one broke. I was very satisfied with how well this was packaged. The stone is thick, stirdy and crisps the pizza dough beautifully. I have not used this on the grillyet but it is great in the oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! We love the dual functionality of this stone. The pizza turns out crispy (the way my family likes it) and comes off the stone really easily (I did season the stone). We also love that we can use this to grill fish and chicken which are summer staples in our house. Would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pizza I love this product. Pizza is probably my favorite food and this is a great way to make any pizza. Whether it be homemade or frozen, it makes the crust so much better. Easy cleanup and care as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for yummy pizza! Bought this as a Christmas gift for husband & he has already made 2 pizzas. The stone made the crust crispy & we will definitely make more pizzas in the future. Also, we will be trying it for additional cooking purposes (ie fajitas, steak, salmon, etc).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much smell and smoke! I followed the instructions regarding seasoning and did so with vegetable oil. 1st time i used the stone it started to smell and smoke (burnt oil). it was too much but i used and thought maybe it's because of 1st use. now is the second time i try it out. I did not re-season it but cleaned it with water after the 1st use.  still giving a very harsh smell and a lot of smoke! very disappointing... not sure if i am doing something wrong, i dont think so... on the other hand if i were to put aside the smell and smoke which invaded my whole apartment, pizzas came out excellent and did not stick at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two thumbs up! We make a lot of homemade Pizzas and this is a nice addition to our household. It makes great Pizza and if you spray the stone with Pam before you use it, the Pizza will NOT stick to it.I can highly recommend it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Gift Item I bought this as a gift for my sister who wanted it after hearing rave reviews from a friend. She was thrilled to get it and loves using the pizza stone almost as much as she does eating the pizzas. C&B also does a lovely job of packaging a gift to look extra special!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gift! I bought this as a Father's Day and my dad (and the rest of the family/friends) love it! We had a pizza birthday party and made about 20 pizzas on it one day.So it seasoned pretty quickly for us. We use it all summer long and enjoy trying different doughs and sauces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for pizza lovers I have used this pizza stone a couple times now and definitely prefer it to just using a pizza pan. It works better if you use cornmeal to dust the surface before putting the dough on as this keeps the pizza from sticking.
