Another Use
Please do not cringe as I tell you what my husband and I use these glass mugs for........ we use them for our very large morning cup of coffee! It is a perfect size that does not require a java refill.

beer is always cold
I have 6 brothers who I always struggle to by for during the years whether birthdays or Christmas. I ended up buying 6, and wrapped them up with a bottle of beer in it. They loved it. Before the new year arrived I had two send a text picture with our family slush in the mugs too. The comment was...Not only for the Beer, but our family slush too. Several of the brothers went back and added to make a complete set. They keep the beer cold and are great when put in the freezer. A great gift for a large family of brothers. Thanks!

Big, Fun Mugs!
I bought these mainly for root beer floats and such. They are definitely big and hefty - nice to hold. As others have mentioned, they would be really versatile for a lot of different purposes.

My favorite mugs
I love the look and size of these mugs, and while they are great for their original purpose, I find myself using them daily instead of a typical glass. They are great for water or iced tea and so easy to hold with the handle.

Great mugs with good heft
I bought these from Crate and Barrel a couple of decades ago after enjoying similar ones in bars in Finland. Then they were no longer available and meanwhile some of mine were broken.
The new ones I bought are very close to the old ones, with one annoying exception. The new ones have a ridge on the bottom that holds water in the dishwasher. The old ones were flat. Other than that, the new ones are great.
One thing, with all the mass of glass, you have to be careful not to take a hot one out of the dishwasher and fill it with cold water. It will crack immediately.

Poor Quality
These mugs didn't last very long. When the first one cracked directly along the cast line I didn't think much of it. But then a second one cracked along the cast line. Sitting on the counter with nothing near it. My only guess is they didn't react well to freezing... but what's a beer mug that you can't chill?

Great texture
My friend got me these for my wedding even though they were not on my registry list. My intention was to return the mugs but ended up finding them very trendy and multiple functional. They are a great display for a wet bar but also work great for root beer floats. The texture of the glass is wonderful too.

used more than any other glasses I own
These mugs are the perfect size. I know they're for beer, but we use them for all cold drinks. They're sturdy and very cool looking, and I like using a mug for a big glass of iced orange juice or mint tea.

Cheers to these mugs
I bought one set of the Krouvi Beer Mugs and loved them so much that I asked for another set for my birthday. They hold an entire beer or can of beer or soda and the handles make them easy and comfortable to hold, especially when they're frosted (think ice-cold beer or root beer — yum!). They're also nearly indestructible, as I've bumped them pretty hard from time to time, with nary a nick. Love love love these mugs!

These mugs live in my freezer
This summer I needed to replace the C&B mugs I had bought years ago. The style was no longer available so I bought 4 Krouvi mugs. These are great. Heavy glass and they can hold a whole 12oz can of soda.

Perfect frosted mugs
Recently bought a Krups Beertender and needed frosted mugs. Bought these mugs and couldn't be happier. We store them in the freezer. The beer stays cold the whole time drinking from the mug. Love the height and width of the mug; and the textured glass. Plan on buying more of these mugs soon.

LOVE these mugs!
We have had & used these mugs since the 1980s when I first purchased them. I gave them to many people as wedding shower gifts, too. They are always in our freezer ready to use. We highly recommend these.

Been Waiting for These
We received a set of these mugs for a wedding present in 1987 and we have loved them. Since then some have broken, gotten lost, etc, so I have been watching for Crate & Barrel to offer them again... Yes, these are great mugs so I am happy to be ordering more! A true classic!

So glad the lattala mugs are back
I've kept a large suppy of the lattala beemugs on my kitchen shelves for 13 or more years, when 2 or 3 would break, I'd order more, then a year ago I needed more but you weren't carrying them! I was so disappointed. but last week I googled to see if anyone else had them and , yeah, you had them back.. Keep them available..I use them for hot tea and coffe

Best Buy Ever
I bought these mugs 20 years ago and they are in just as good shape today as when I purchased them. They are ideal for the freezer for beer. Buy them, you will not regret the purchase...even after 20 years.

Huge mugs!
These mugs are huge! I hardly drink beer but I bought 3 set, 2 sets as a gift and 1 set to keep! I wish I could drink beer, this much, but my guests sure will love using these.

Bring back more of the oldies....
Was very glad to see these were back on the shelf... I am down to 2 (clutz here) out of 6. May need to purchase a dozen for future disasters that I guarantee will happen. Bring back some more oldies!
