Beautiful but LARGE
I loved this item, but unfortunately it comes in only one size. Great if feeding an army or having a party, but for a small family it's just too big.
PLEASE get this item in a smaller size!!

Fabulous!
I love the beautiful clean lines! I am currently using it as a fruit bowl & have received lots of compliments on it. This item is quite versatile and could be used as a salad bowl, a fruit bowl, a vase for my low flowers or a great place to display Easter eggs or other holiday items.

do I get a commission?
I first purchased this bowl as a wedding gift. Loved it so much I bought one for myself. The last two times I have used it, at least one guest asked where I bought it, then purchased one for themselves!
I have also washed the bowl in the dishwasher on the top rack and it has fared beautifully.

Perfect, perfect, perfect
We have given this bowl as gifts and we finally bought one for ourselves. It's beautiful, classic, yet modern and it's great for salads or anything cold. It makes everything look special, even a plain green salad.

Beautiful Piece
We received this as a wedding gift and couldn't be more delighted, its graceful elegance adds just the right touch to our dinner table. We also have the Acacia serving spoons and salad bowls. I always get compliments from guests.

lovely serving bowl
I fell in love with this serving bowl when I first saw it and had to have it... I have used it several times for group gatherings, including a mixed coleslaw salad that held a serving size for 24 with no problem. It's too big for everyday use but it's perfect for entertaining. Anything you put in it looks amazing...
I highly recommend keeping the box you bring it home in for easy storage.

Beautiful Display
The bowl is large and is excellent for serving a large colorful pasta salad. Great to take to parties. The only issue is that the bowl is a bit large and somewhat hard to store.

Lovely Piece
Always the centerpiece for a fresh mixed salad is beautiful in this bowl or simply with fruit other times. the wood handles and serving utensils are very nice but do be careful with the glass bowl/insert, it is not heavy glass but rather a nice light and a little thin, I've never broken or cracked because Im very careful, I only hand wash. Its a nice generous size too, I can make a large salad for a dinner party. Last use was a ceasar salad I did have to refill once for a party of 18 but that wasnt bad. I absolutely love my bowl.

Great for entertaining
This is a very nice salad bowl. It's easy to mix things in it and it's easy to serve. It's also large enough for big parties. When we don't have a party, we use it as a decoration bowl and store there small things. Very multifunctional!

Larger than expected
I receved this as a bridal shower gift after registering for it online. Since I didn't see it in person, I didn't expect it to be as large as it is. It's very pretty, but really on the large side. We live in a condo with a small-ish kitchen and don't really have the space to spare for something this large that won't be used all the time. If you have a lot of kitchen storage, I would recommend it. But since we don't, it will be returned.

Stunning!
This piece is beautiful! Not only can you use it for salad, but it makes a stunning center piece for everyday use! We registered for this for our wedding. It's larger than I expected, but that's not a bad thing! Looks great no matter when you use it.

Great Item
I have used this salad bowl not only for salad but for pasta and pasta salad as well. The glass allows for great presentation by showcasing the colors of your food at the table. Easy to clean versus an entire wooden or acacia bowl.

If you have a large table and are serving many people, this is a fantastic salad bowl. It is beautiful and easily can be used for both a more casual occasion as well as a more formal event.

Beautiful Salad bowl
This is such an elegant addition to the table and always gets admiring comments from guests. It is large enough to serve a crowd, but what I like best about it is the shallowness of the bowl so all the 'goodies" that are added to a salad do not disappear into the depths. Plus it allows for plenty of surface space to make a colorful arrangement.

Love the overall shape and size of this item. It's alot larger in person, holding roughly 2-4 romaine lettuce heads.
Just difficult to clean.. difficult to get a good grasp with my (small) hands, and can't fit in my small kitchen sink to wash.. take it to the tub.
Not sure the quality's $60 worth. The bowl is made of really thin glass.

Great serving piece!
I missed this at Christmas time and kept checking back for your restock. Absolutely love it! Very contemporary and quite a conversation piece. Works great with all kinds of salads and pasta. Trying to think of someone who needs a gift! Thanks, Crate and Barrel...love my salad server!

I purchased this as a shower gift and was so pleased with it, I have ordered one for myself. I can envision so many uses for this all year long, I don't think it will ever be stored in a closet!

Gorgeous and big
I admired this set for a long time before finally treating myself to it, and a few months later I had a chance to use it at a dinner party. It looked SO elegant. I absolutely love this piece. It is a VERY big bowl - it was great for a salad for 13 people. It requires some gentle handling to clean up, so I wouldn't use this as an everyday salad bowl. For a party, though, it's gorgeous.

Wonderful product!
What a fantastic product. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bowl/set IS big - but that is such a nice feature! We received this as a wedding present and are sure to receive many compliments on it - it is beautiful. I can't wait to serve salads and pastas out of it in the future.
