Top of the box fell loose
I was so excited to finally have a jewelry box that felt grown up and with enough space to hold my collection of necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I loved the various sizes of containers on top, and the open space down on the next level. What really made me decide this was a one star piece was the fact that the top fell loose after only a few months, and I was very gentle knowing it was glass/mirror material. There are no hinges holding the top from the base, just cheap cardboard, and it looks like it was glued. I'm so disapointed I spent my birthday money on this purchase, because it was perfect until it broke. Now I don't feel so grown up...and the hunt is on once again.

Perfect!
Thanks Crate & Barrel. After looking and looking for a simple yet elegant jewelry box for my daughter, I found this one. I couldn't be more pleased. I think it is exactly what she wants to find under the Christmas tree. Can't wait to give it to her. The quality is amazing and the size is perfect.

Great Gift Idea
I purchased these as gifts for my bridal party and wanted to have their monogram engraved on the lid. The jewelry box was too big to do so, so I had a silver plate engraved instead and hot glued that on the inside lid so they would see it when they opened it.
The jewelry box is beautiful and "Girly Glam" with plenty of space. Note: there is an odor upon opening the box. Reminds me of elmers glue (this was apparent before I glued in the silver plate). My solution was placing a perfumed swatch inside to diffuse the smell. It worked just fine.

Beautiful but Broke Immediately
This is a gorgeous jewelery box and I was so excited to get this as a gift. The outside is exactly as pictured but when i opened it up and tried to lift the top layer it immediately broke leaving jagged nails all over. I will be returning this and not getting another one - it is poorly made.
