The Story

The design for this Crate and Barrel exclusive was discovered in the archives of Krosno, a European glass collective dating back to 1923. Handmade by master glassmakers to the original 1950s specifications, this glass breaks out of a basic silhouette with a square band just below mid-point, lending a low-center-of-gravity look and an inviting handhold. Versatile barware, rendered brilliantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All Around Glasses I had bought some of these glasses previously, and liked them so much that I bought some more. I use them as regular drinking glasses, for water, orange juice etc. They are easy to pick up from the dish rack upside down without slipping out of your hand, and you can fit your hand in to the whole inside to clean it thoroughly. One thing I did learn is not to try to peel of the label than says handmade, because it won't come off at first, but will come off by itself in time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features! What I particularly like about these glasses is that you can reach all the way inside to thoroughly clean them. Also, they have a ridge so they are easy to pick up to use when they are upside down. The one thing to watch out for is that they have a label on the side that says Handmade that does not come off, so if you try to peel it off the edge comes off and then if feels like something is rubbing up against you lip if you happen to drink out of that side of the glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect. Just what I was looking for These were actually bought as a gift for my sister. The hard to please one! (she seems to have a problem hanging on to glassware) :) Just a good size, weighted bottom and attractive. Good value to boot!If she keeps up, I may go acrylic next time. LOL
