Best space-saver ever
This small bamboo cutting board is amazing. First of all it hangs on my MetroShelf--doubling its space-saving qualities. It is easy to maneuver, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store. And the price is right!

Perfect Size
I purchased this for my mom because she was complaining of always having to drag out her very large cutting board for small items. It's a perfect size, feel and look. We love it :)

It is ok I use it when I don't want to clean up bigger cutting board I didn't pay attention to size I thought it would be bigger but a good cutting board

Don't Buy!
I received this as a wedding present, and after hand washing it once with a sponge, the little bamboo hairs came out!!! I returned the board immediately. I am not sure if mine was defective?

echoing others-don't put this board in the dishwas
I just got this board recently. I like that it is lightweight and has a fairly large surface area for cutting.
I would definitely wash it by hand though. I put it in the dishwasher according to the directions (no heat cycle) and it came out dry and rough. I used mineral oil on the board and it seems to be in good shape again.

Disappointed- not typical C&B quality
I wanted this mainly b/c it said it was dishwasher safe, which is great in our busy home. However, after about three months of regular use and about 10 trips through the dishwasher, the board looked very faded, scratched up, and warped. We threw it away. I wouldn't recommend this product at ALL.

Own both Bamboo Boards
I have used the large bamboo board so much that I bought the smaller bar board. Only problem is that after several washes in the dishwasher the boards do fade some but I will buy new ones when these wear out.

It's Sleek and Gorgeous!
We have used our knew cutting board almost every day since we got it. It is easy to store and use. Plus it looks amazing. It's very easy to clean as well. We feel like top chefs when we use it. It has been one of the greatest additions to our kitchen.

Don't wash in the dishwasher
What a shame! This is such a beautiful bamboo cutting board but unfortunately after one easy use and one dishwasher cycle - washed gently with no heat drying - the board came out looking weathered and had an odor.

This is a nice, lightweight board that is beautiful. I love that it can go in the dishwasher if necessary. The only negative is that there are small splinters or fine wood fibers on the surface, like the board needs to be sanded smooth. They are not hard enough to cause a splinter and I haven't noticed it transferring to the food, however.

Not dishwasher safe
I never put my wooden cutting boards in the dishwasher but our house sitter did put this one in.
It totally warped and won't lie flat on the counter rendering it unusable. Any eco benefit of buying bamboo is probably now erased because I will have to return it for another.
Other than that I have no problem with the board, but dishwasher safe it is not.

Love the large size
We received this as a wedding present and I just love the size! Its a large board so you have a lot of room to work with when cutting veggies, cheese, meat, etc. Although I have never put it in the dishwasher, it cleans up very easily by hand.

Quality material, easy to store.
I love this cutting board! I wanted a board I could use for meats and then but in the dishwasher and this fit the bill. It is very easy to store, a perfect size, and washes up great.

Great cutting board
We received two of these for a wedding present and they are terrific. Very sturdy and durable, but also the bamboo gives it a lovely look. It does say that they can go in the dishwasher, but I prefer to wash them by hand just to be on the safe side.

Beautiful to look at and touch
I recently purchased this cutting board to use for a party. I needed a board pretty enough for my guests to cut cheese on. It's gorgeous. The first time I washed it (its dishwasher safe but I washed it in the sink) tiny little splinters came off it. However, I have noticed that that hasn't happened again. Other wise its been a great purchase.
