Not perfect, but glad I found these
I tried online and in stores without success to find a plate rack, for displaying dishes on my kitchen counter. I had a nice surprise when I tried Crate & Barrel and found that you carried them. I purchased the 10” wooden rack, which was inexpensive, it only cost $5.95. The rack was not as sturdy as I expected it to be. The pins between which the plates are placed need to be thicker as they do not hold the plates upright. I used a bread plate to brace the dinner plates, to keep them from falling forward. Also, when assembling the rack you need to use carpenters glue to keep the horizontal pins in place. It’s not perfect, but I’m enjoying my plates on display. Thanks.

Awesome item
It took 15 seconds to put together and is a great alternative to ordering expensive cupboard insert. Love Love Love it!!!

Perfect!
I saw racks like these in a couple of stores, displaying frames, and plates, and whatever, but no one could tell me where they got them. I found them here, after a brief on-line search. I use them to display small unframed photographs for sale in my booth at arts festivals, and they are perfect in their simplicity. So glad I found them.

great price but too short
the price and quality can't be beat, but the rack only holds 7 dishes not 8..:-(((

Storage Problem Solved!
I've looked everywhere for a great solution to storing serving plates and platters of all different sizes and shapes, which won't stack. I finally saw a product like this holding a display in a department store. After telling me it was a display item and not for sale, the salesperson quietly mentioned I should check Crate & Barrel. Thank you salesperson! Thank you Crate & Barrel! Problem solved!

Love it! Love it! Love it!
My stoneware dishes look great displayed upright in my hutch! I no longer have to worry about chipping; and, I can remove some of the pegs to display bowls and odd sized plates. I actually reordered more! I'm thinking of staining them to coordinate with my accent furniture.

Wooden Plate Rack
After losing 5 valuable plates to stress fractures while stored in stacks, I hunted for the racks I saw in EVERY retail store. No one had leads on finding any to buy. THANK YOU Crate and Barrel for sell these! They are affordable and came promptly.
I secure the few loose dowels with a square of paper towel since the racks are used in closets. I don't understand why they are made to only hold 7 plates.
Now my dishes are safe from the stress of vibrations while they wait for their next use.

Nice Look
I bought these racks for displaying plates in my pottery booth at art fairs. They look nice, work well, and are easy to assemble & disassemble for packing. I would prefer that the upright pegs could be moved to allow for wider spacing to accommodate bigger plates. The fixed spacing is a bit too tight for my larger plates.

Wooden plate holder
These plate holders meet my needs completely. I'm a china dealer and this is a great way for me to keep individual plates easily accessible and safe.

Just what I was looking for!
This is perfect for the various plates that I couldn't figure out how to store and still have easy access. Would have been even better if they were made a little more sturdy (but they do fine as is) and the pegs were removable so you could adjust the spacing. For what they are, they are fine and solved a storage problem for me.

Love the plate racks
The only caution is as others have said...glue the pegs when assembling. Can't believe that other stores don't sell these. Thanks Crate & Barrel!

Only Crate & Barrel
I just moved into a new apartment and the cheap cabinets are to narrow for my dinner plates to fit. The plate rack was a very good/attractive solution! I only which they would have come in more decorative styles (maybe colors or different wood finishes etc). Priceless solution for minimum cost.

Very Useful
Very simple item which we found useful for our cookware tops (small and medium size). We also bought the smaller version of this item and we use that for keeping the plastic storage containers' tops in order in the cabinet.

Very pleased!
I looked everywhere for this product. All big box stores use them to display plates, but no one had them for retail sale. I am so glad Crate & Barrell made them available. They serve their purpose, and I didn't find them flimsy at all like some of the other reviewers did. I however did use a few dabs of wood glue when putting them together.

Alternative Use Idea
We purchased this and are using as storage/sorter for pot & pan lids...it could be sturdier, but it works fairly well.

Finally for sale!
These were just used to display items in stores for a while, and they finally offered them for sale. They're a little flimsy, like another reviewer mentioned, but they're ok for lighter items.

A bit flimsy
I didn't like these. Unfinished wood, and felt a bit flimsy

Keep Plates from Scratches
Although the wood is not the highest of quality, these work great to keep my plates in perfect condition. I don't have to worry about any black marks on any of my white plates.

Glad to have found these racks for sale
I was looking for a way to display some plates in a china cabinet. I saw similar racks displaying dishes at a retail store but was told the racks were not for sale. So I went on line and found these racks at Crate & Barrel. I am very happy with them. I like the small one best because I can turn it at an angle to show off the dishes very nicely.
