wanted more from this product
I ordered 3 sets of these dinnerware storage containers. I also ordered the separate liners because I wanted to be sure my Noritake dinnerware was protected.
The storage set came with very small liners, but nothing I would bank on for protection from breakage. (We are a military family and move A LOT, so this purchase was important.) Frankly, I expected a little better quality and as other reviewers have mentioned, there isn't a place to mark the contents on each. Frustrated, I finally ended up using a Sharpie to write in bold print, but it does not look as nice/neat as I'd like. Will be keeping these, but as a (hopefully) one-time purchase, would have preferred better quality, better liners (included) and a place to denote contents on each.

Missing the foam dividers
My cases came packaged from China but while the cases were all there none of the foam dividers -- essential for safe storage -- were in the package. I couldn't get the customer service representative to understand that the package was defective in terms of content but she did send me a package of felt dividers that you can buy separately and are a step above the foam ones. Just be sure if you order this that your package includes everything it should.

Grandmother's China
I bought two sets to store my grandmother's 1920's era china so that it would be safe in the basement but still accessible to use occasionally. There is a LOT of this china, but it all fit really securely. I re-purposed one of the rectangular ones for platters and serving pieces. The only thing I'd add is a clear plastic sleeve on front to be able to slide in a card identifying the contents. I taped index cards, but the tape doesn't stick.

Functional but not pretty
These do the trick but are a bit cheaper looking in person than they appear. The seam was separating on one of the pieces right when I took it out of the package.
The Pearl teacups do not fit in the 12 spaces but they fit if you stack two on top of each other. There is also nowhere to put the saucers but since I had the cups stacked on either end of their case I was able to fit the saucers in the middle.
I'd still recommend them because it's great to have a way to store the china, I just wish it was a little bit better quality and fit everything.

Perfect for storing fine china
I've used other storage sets before, but the quality and stability of this set is the best I've gotten. It's perfect for storing the wedding china we don't have room to display, as well as protecting other pieces in storage.

Does the job
This product is pretty much what you would expect from the pictures. Size and materials were good. Mine arrived with directions for putting in the inserts for holding cups. Unfortunately, according to the directions, the pieces needed to add structure to the sides were missing. Other than that it was fine.

outstanding product!
We recieved this dinnerware storage set for our bridal shower and were very pleased with the excellent quality of the product. I have come to expect only the best from crate and barrel and this product far exceeded my high expectations. The storage set is classy looking, extremely durable, and is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. Since the shower I have purhcased the serving platter and bowl storage sets and have been equally pleased. A perfect investment for a family on the go!

Good idea, but could be better
I bought the stemware storage case because I'm planning a move from Idaho to Alaska soon and I thought I should have something to protect the stemware that my husband and I received a few months ago at our wedding...I like the idea of this product, but the four walls, the top and the bottom of the case are not lined with reinforcement at all! The foam/cardboard inserts look like they'll do a good job protecting the glasses from one another inside the case, but I'll most likely have to put the entire thing into another box to protect the top, bottom and sides! Overall, an average purchase.

Great for storage of fine china
I received this as a gift to store an irreplaceable set of china received from my father. There was plenty of room for my entire set in the containers with numerous sizes for the variety of bowl and plate sizes. It isn't really made to accommodate the serving pieces. I'd definitely recommend using the felt pads as well.

this was a life-saver
I purchased this and was so excited I found them because my good china was handed down to me and they were also in a storage set similar to this but needed to be desperately replaced. They are overall good but sometimes off-centered in their sizes and some have ripped along where the zipper is but nothing too overly serious. I also purchased the felt pads and I'm glad I did. I recommend this.

These saved my grandma's china
I bought these about a year ago. I carefully placed (with the felt) the china in the storage set and then packed them into a box. They sat in a storage facility for the past 6 months, after I got them to my home, there was not a scratch, nothing broken, and perfectly protected. I highly recommend these!

In a word, perfect!
I have one set for my good china and another set for the Christmas Spode china. Because the outside is white, I have used a magic marker to mark what is inside each storage round and it is easy to identify what I need without opening every zipper. 12 dishes fit fine and that is enough, any more would be too heavy.
I also have the wine glass storage chest for the Christmas Spode china latte mugs and it works great. It seems we just don't use those dainty cups and saucers any more.

Convenient way to store fine china
We registered for these cases for our fine china. They have done a great job keeping our dishes safe. They had a bit of a plastic-y smell at first, but I aired them out for a few days, and the smell went away. The cup case has cardboard separators with foam and do not seem to be the most well-made (the foam rips fairly easily) but they are similar to other cases we have seen and this does not seem to be a big problem.

Great wedding gift
I have bought this for friends who are getting married. It is a great idea to get these protective covers along with dishes for newlyweds adn they come in especially handy at moving time! My friends were thrilled to get this item that they hadn't registered for along with their dishes.

Fabulous for moving
This set was fabulous for protecting our dishes when we moved. Not one dish was broken or chipped during our cross country trek. This is good quality and I am sure we will use them several times for storing or moving.

Perfect!
I find myself needing another set of these great storage cases. I collect antique china so it's important for me to be able to store the delicate pieces securly when not in use. These are perfect. I don't worry about any chips or cracks on my irreplaceable pieces. Thank you!

Good product
I got this product to store my new china and it's really useful. Each plate holder fit 12 plates easily, and I was able to fit all of my tea cups in square storage unit. I would , however, recommend getting the separate padding for storage. This only comes with small squares of thin playstic padding that seem like it would do much to protect the china.
