Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This is so cute and handy. It's a great addition to my kitchen. Looks nice sitting on the counter. I use it to house my kosher salt. Would highly recommend. Arrived well packed and in a timely manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the range This is one of my favorite buys from C&B, mainly because I use it daily. The size fits perfectly on may range or next to it if I'm using the oven and it holds enough salt to get me through nearly a month of daily cooking. The value is great at this price, I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice ! I have been looking for a salt container for quite awhile - specifically, a "salt pig" shaped like a pig that I saw used on the Food Network and have not been able to find one anywhere - so when I saw this in the C&B catalog, I thought it was unique and decided to order it - I like it very much - it's a good size and I like that it also has a lid and it looks nice sitting on the counter - it's not something you need to hide in a cabinet. The only negative comments would be the wording "SALT" is hardly noticeable - it could be more prominent and it is not a true white - it's a little off white - other than that, it's very nice and I would recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lightweight, delicate, flaw in face of of the item Ordered this salt box from Crate & Barrel and couldn't wait to get it as I've been wanting one for quite a while. I have to say I was disappointed and will be returning it. The top doesn't fit flush with the bottom and allows a lot of moisture in via exposure to air and steamy pots if kept near the stove and the face has a flaw near the lower left area by the 'S.' Additionally, the item is quite light and seems fragile and likely to break with regular use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient storage for Kosher salt This is the perfect item to store your Kosher salt in near the cooking arena. It looks good near the stove on the counter or in the cabinet (especially if you have glassed doors). It's clean looking and not imposing. My only complaint is that the top is a little loose and the loop on it could be higher for a better grip. You can only grip it with your fingertips. Be careful or you will easily drop it! The piece will make a nice presentation in your home. It may be a bit pricey, but you only need one, right? Would make a great gift too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Dissappointed I purchased the Salt Keeper for my daughters birthday. I was so Dissappointed with the SMALL SIZE of the container. It is very cute, but when she started unwrapping the package, I thought you had forgotten to put the salt keeper in all the wrappings. She is an avid antique collecter and I saw the container on your site and it really looked like an actual old fashion salt container that was used back years ago. The stoneware- color is nice, but I just wish the size would have been larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful accessory I purchased this salt cellar along with the utensil crock and am very happy with both items. The crock is just the right size for all my spoons and whisks and the salt cellar is perfect for the pinch of kosher salt I use frequently. Good buys for a great price.
