A Small Piece of Art
I purchased the glass storage containers with glass lids several years ago. I use them occasionally, both for storage and for cooking and serving. Perfect size for a mid-day cup of soup, or macaroni and cheese or leftover stew! I have since added a lot more glass storage storage containers, and love the feel and the look!

Great problem solver!
It makes such a difference in the storage capacity of my refrigerator it is incredible. I love that these are glass because I got rid of all of my plastic storage long ago. The size and shape of these containers takes advantage of every centimeter in your refrigerator and makes for neat and organized storage when not in use. I recommend them to any and all!!!!!!!

So pretty and functional

Nice Glass Containers
These are nice, traditional storage. I'm trying to get away from plastic-everything! My mom had containers like these in the '50's and I'm glad to see they're coming back - or maybe they were never gone and I just didn't realize it until I hit my breaking point with plastic-everything. The rubber seal can come off and I would actually keep it off I think. It's not a very cleanable material, and actually doesn't seem to help seal the container. Best use for these really would seem to be a "cook and serve" use like for potato salad, jello, etc., not so much for storage in the fridge for any length of time because they don't seal well. The glass lid doesn't really set well on the container. Still, it's a sturdy product and I really like the look of it and the idea of not having bought another plastic thing! I would recommend it, but with the understanding that it's not an airtight seal.
