Perfect Fit
Purchased three of these jars for the office. Put one in the kitchen, one in the lounge and one in the conference room. Filled them with nutritious snacks (and some sweets)! Definitely a hit!! Great morale booster!

perfect for sauerkraut
I purchased the large jar to use for fermenting sauerkraut. The size is ample for 5 pounds of cabbage and a small Fiestaware plate works well as a weighted disc. Made in the US was a huge selling point.

Great for parties!
I have the .5 gallon, 1 gallon and 2 gallon jars. I've used them for serving punch or sangria (with a ladle), and I even used a bunch of them for a birthday party to serve an assortment of cookies, brownies, candy, rice crispy treats for a cookie/candy bar as party favors. Love these!!

Fantastically Simple
Honestly, I ordered this jar to make my own flavored vodka - you've seen it in restaurants, take the rings of pineapple and stack them just so and then cover in a couple of gallons of vodka. Give it a week or two and voila! Seriously, it's the best stuff you've ever tasted (dangerously so, but only use fresh fruits, please; unless you're using candied ginger). Since we aren't always focused on liquor, the jar often holds other things on the counter and even looks beautiful when empty and catching the sun just so. All in all, the two gallon size is huge, but it's a quality jar for the price, has a ton of practical uses and can fit in any decor. I intend to get other sizes for more uses and only wish they made an air tight version.

the best
I have been lookiing at this for a long time. I finally decided to order the large one. I love it. I use it to put packaged snack bars in. Can store a variety of different ones and still be able to pick out one because of the cannister being clear. I am getting away from plastic in my kitchen, so plan on ordering more in different sizes.

Love It!!
I use it for a terrarium. I found other glass containers that were specifically marketed for use as a terrarium. They were very expensive and looked rather frail. This was a fantastic price and very sturdy. I'm thinking of buying another!!

Big Presence!!!

I bought 2 of the largest ones and they are great for my flour and sugar. Very large and attractive on the counter. They would be wonderful for cookies for the grandkids also!

Very Usefull
I purchased the set of these last year. I'm not one for counter clutter but needed storage for my flour & sugar. The clear glass really helps keep the look clean & refined. I use the larger 2 for flour & sugar & the smallest for quick treats for the kids. They clean up easily & surprisingly are still intact after a year of neighborhood kids grabbing snacks!

great for wedding
I purchased 5 of the two gallon jars to use at my wedding reception. We had a relaxed country reception at a state park, and used these to serve drinks. The jars lined up with ladles and little signs saying 'lemonade', 'sweet tea', etc looked so cute! The jars arrived promptly and packaged well. I was a little worried that they could be damaged in shipping, but I had no problem. They are really nice jars -- now I want to order them in different sizes. I just love using clear jars for storing interesting items.

I had 1 jar for cookies my kids would complain that when I mixed cookies they got the other cookies taste on them. So decided to buy two more These jars are perfect for cookie storage and my kids are thrilled that the cookies aren't mixed anymore.

Huge!
I LOVE these jars. I registered for all sizes for my wedding. This one ended up being much larger than I was expecting. It's great if you do a lot of baking and have a lot of counter space. If not, stick with the smaller sizes. Even the one gallon is great for flour. They look great in my kitchen!

Change is Good!
I've been wanting these glass jars for my kitchen for the longest time. So, I decided to wait no longer and Im glad I did. They are PERFECT! They will go with any kitchen decor - they make my counter tops look so clean & clear. I use the 1gallon for Flour, bought (2) .5 gallon, one for sugar the other for tea bags and I can't wait to use my two gallon jar. My mom loved them!
I ordered the whole set for my mom for mother's day, 1 large, 2 mediums, 1 small. She absolutely loved them! She'd kept mentioning how she wanted new canisters soo badly; glass ones with big mouths, specifically. She keeps flour in the large, sugar and tea bags in her mediums and rice in the small. A couple weeks after she got them we were watching our favorite cooking show, Barefoot Contessa, and saw that Ina had the exact same canisters! Which makes my mom love them even more.
