Favorite Kitchen Utensil!
I got this for a gift and now don't know what I did without it. It has cut my food preparation time easily in half! Great for chopping and slicing veggies and for grating cheese! Plus it is attractive enough to leave on my counter!

Awesome product
I've had this food processor for about a week and have used it twice- to shred cheese, and to make a crumb mixture out of crackers and corn flakes. This product puts my old food processor to shame! The 9-cup capacity is great, wouldn't consider going lower than that, though.
I used the chopping blade to make the crumb mixture- this worked out really well. It turned several cups of cereal and crackers into a coarse powder in seconds. I also used the shredding disc to grate semi-hard cheeses, like cheddar and colby jack- the shredding was fantastic, although when I got to the end of the cheese, it didn't shred as well and kind of smeared on the disc. But, since the parts are all dishwasher safe, clean up was simple.
The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't have a good way to store the shredding and slicing discs when not in use. The slicing disc in particular is very sharp and could easily cut you if you simply throw it in a drawer. I store the chopping blade inside the food processor, and I opted to buy the Cuisinart disc holder to store the discs. Unfortunately, Crate and Barrel doesn't sell this, so I had to buy it elsewhere, but it was only about $20- and worth it. You could also get a larger holder that will keep the slicing blade and other materials in it as well, but it took up way too much counter space. The disc holder can fit nicely in a drawer, and holds up to three discs.
I would definitely recommend this food processor- worth the investment!

takes a lot of space
I like this, but it takes space I don't have. For some meals though, what a time saver!

It makes all that chopping and shredding a breeze...this makes me want to be a better cook!

Chops like a dream!
Recently, my old food processor started to leak. I took a trip to CB and bought this Cuisinart item, and it is absolutely fabulous! Not only is it dishwasher safe, but it works like a charm. Defintiely makes short work of chopping my kitchen. It is definitely an investment, but it puts my old cheaper processor to shame!

Great Food Processor
This is by far the best food processor I have ever used. The blades are nice and sharp and the motor has really nice power. I have yet to use the dough blade or dough speed setting, but it is nice to have and if it functions as well as the other features of this mixer I am sure it will be wonderful.

Great Time Saver
I received this item as a gift, and I use it all the time! It's easy to put together, and very easy to clean. It save SO much time chopping things, mixing things, etc. My husband even uses it!

Wonderful!!
The Cuisinart Food Processor is fabulous. The size is perfect, as it doesn't take up too much counter space but it does any job I need it to. The recipe instruction book is nice and as a great hummus recipe.

So glad I got this for Mother's Day!
I absolutely love this food processor! All of the slicing/grating/etc. plates work perfect. It cuts down on prep time more than I ever thought! It is super easy to clean. I find myself looking for more foods to use it on.

Must Have!
I love my food processor. It is worth the investment. i make salsa in 2 mins total, shred cheese without cutting my knuckles, and pizza toppings in a snap. Every kitchen should have one!

essential
indeed a work horse. the only issue is sometimes the top latch is a bit stiff. have saves tons of money shredding blocks of cheese instead of buying pre-shredded. a must have for pie crust

Best Christmas Gift Ever
I had a mini food processor and got this 9-cup processor for xmas, it was the best gift ever! I love making pesto, sauces, dips, you can even grate cheese! :)
