Great pan, excellent customer service!
This pan sears steak nicely when its too cold outside to use the grill, cooks evenly and keeps the juices in! Have also used to grill vegetables and fish. Great quality! A big thanks to the Chicago store assocaited that ordered this for me, it was not available on-line but they were able to have one shipped to their store for easy pick up!

Fits a 10" Skewer Easy to Clean
This grill pan fits nicely on my stovetop without taking up two burners at once. The 10 inch skewers fit right into the pan. The grill pan is very easy to clean, I wipe off the grease with a paper towel after the pan has cooled. Then I wash the pan by hand with dish soap, a soft sponge and water. Dry with a towel and that's it! I put it away. I have used it to grill hot dogs, polish sausages and meat. It goes well with the Mario Batali grill press.

Terrific!! - how'd I live without this?
I have had this for about 2 weeks, and have used it probably 10 times! It's easy to clean, with plenty of surface area for a variety of uses. Feels very sturdy, so I know I'll be able to use and enjoy it for a long time. The only thing to consider is cabinet space - this pan is quite large, so if space is a major factor for you, you may want to look for something smaller. That said, you could probably save yourself some time and store it on the stove -- I've found myself reaching for it that often!

Great for Grilling Indoors
It was so great to be able to great to be able to grill shrimp kabobs in my house instead of having to start up the grill outside in the heat.

Great pan...
We love Calphalon Contemporary cookware - cooks beautifully and cleans like no other. This pan is incredibly versatile - we use it for everything from paninis to pork chops to bacon to grilling fruit. My only complaint is that it does take more effort to keep clean (with the way the grill impression is), especially if you cook something with a lot of grease (like bacon)...I typically have to wash it twice when I cook those sorts of items.

Best grill pan there
We've had this grill pan for going on 3 years. It still performs like new and is better than any we've ever had (love cast iron too, but maintenance puts it in 2nd place). This guy is used 3-4 times a week for fajitas, chicken breasts, burgers, steak, etc.. The only signs of visible wear are on the exterior, but expected as our gas burner grates aren't smooth and we just throw it in the dishwasher instead of hand washing. Never warped like other grill pans we've tried. Handle stays cool. Have never tried putting it into the oven, so can't say whether that would affect durability.
Overall, this is one of our top 4 useful faves in the kitchen & a steal at the price!

Love this!
I bought this about 2 months ago and absolutely love it! It is perfect when it's raining outside and we can't use the grill. It's a little heavier than what I am use to but I wouldn't have gone with another brand besides Calphalon. I hand wash this after each use like I do all my other Calphalon cookware and it cleans beautifully.

great grill option
I'm a diehard outdoor griller, but sometimes the Northwest rain is too much. Not only is this a great plan-B, it stands alone as a slendid option for some fantastic grilling. Cleans up easily too. We highly recommend.
