These pans work GREAT! If you are hesitant to try the calphalon series due to the price of the set, give these two a go and you find that you are hooked. We already had a full set and loved them. These two just rounded it out nicely.

The Joy of Cooking revisited
My skillets had seen better days. I knew I wanted good ones, but was reluctant to pay the high prices they usually command when I saw a special sale on a set of Calphalon nonstick frypans at Crate and Barrel. Since I knew the Calphalon name to be a respected one (and knew others who loved theirs), I stopped by our local Crate and Barrel to pick up a set. The store had been one that our daughter had used when she married last July and we'd had wonderful service with her bridal registry. I was not disappointed with MY service, either; the clerk was most helpful, ordered me a set since the store was out of them and I received a nice notification when they were in. The clerk also looked into the correct cover sizes and order codes so I'd have them if I needed them (which I discovered I did not). Joining the new rewards program with this purchase, I also received coupons for future purchases (before the demise of the program). I love the new pans and have made some wonderful dishes (including shrimp fajitas) using them. I look forward to many more delicious family meals prepared in my new Calphalon nonstick frypans.

Great Frypans
These are great quality, cook well, maintain their niceness and are reasonably priced. I definitely recommend them!

Excellent Value
Great balance and heft for the price. Easily stands up to my commercial gas range burners. Best of all -- a nonstick surface that is Dishwasher Safe!!

Wonderful starter set
Purchased those after moving and needed a starte set of pans. They are a nice size and cooking with them is a breeze. Perfect for making meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Looking forward to adding to the set!

Excellent
The pans are great non stick and easy to use. They are pretty and the small one is a great size for single cooking on eggs. The medium size is good for other things. My old roomate had them and i had to get them. I'm pretty happy about them.

Best pans ever
I love these pans! To cook completely without oil is amazing, PLUS- these have metal handles, making them ready for stove-top to stove use! I make fritattas in them all the time!

fanatastic
Used old school calphalon for 15 years now and I HATE having to handwash every time I cook to maintain non-stick surface. Bought this set 1 year ago to test out the dishwasher safe, nonstick durability. Fantastic!! Buying new set to replace the rest of the old set I was holding on to for "emergencies". Worth every penny!
