Crate and Barrel was the only place that had a small pasta pot. It arrived in a timely manner and the packing was excellant. It is a gift that I added all the neccesarry food items. A perfect gift for someone going off to college.

Love it!!!!
I love this product! It's the perfect size for just the two of us and I have been able to use it for multiple recipes! I love the strainer that comes with it, too!

Awesome pasta pan
I have a million pans so my partner laughed when I came home with yet another C&B box containing this baby. BUT...even he has come to admit that this is just perfect for cooking pasta (or veges!) for two. We also love the curved design so it sits out on our hob top looking cool. All the other pans languish enviously in the closet.

Pasta for two!
We bought this pot about two months ago and have gotten our money's worth out of it for sure! We have used it for different kinds of pasta and has worked perfectly, even for up to three portions. We have even used it for vegetables, and the best part is that it is great to create stock or vegetable broth! We have also found it useful for steaming a few vegetables. We love that it is made out of stainless steel because we are very careful about toxic materials in cookware and have found that this is a very good material that heats quickly while being innocuous. This pot is a very complete product and I would recommend it without a doubt.

Great pasta pot
My husband and I use this pot all the time- we're big pasta eaters. We like to throw vegetables into the pot, too, so there's less cleaning to do. It's so convenient, and we love using it.

Plenty o' Pasta
Wonderful cookware and a very nice size for storing. This pot can cook, I would say, up to 3 servings. Heats up in no time! Not only does your water boil quickly, also saves energy. I like using the strainer as a colander and the pot for soups, chili, etc. Best purchase I've made for the kitchen in a long time. Unfortunately, for viewers, the price has gone up. I paid about $5 less.

Aesthetic outweighs function
Bought this recently as there are only two of us. Really liked the unique look. The problems I had was it took a very long time to boil water, the boiling seemed to be from the sides of the pot instead of the bottom and the pasta cooked unevenly. From start to finish (putting water on the stove to cooked pasta) it took over 20 minutes.
Didn't try using without the insert so I am not sure if that would have helped.
Good news, I returned to C&B without a problem.

Great gift for Newlyweds !
I purchased this as a wedding shower gift so I unable to review how the product actually cooks.
It is a great looking pot, very shiny and it has some substance to it, and the pot belly shape makes it unique. The sticker on the bottom says it is made in Italy.
It is the perfect size to cook "Pasta for Two", no need to pull out a large stockpot.
I also purchased a set of pasta bowls to pair up with it to complete the gift.
