LOVE it
This is great to juice citrus. I have a favorite ceviche recipe and before I bought this I had to squeeze 18 limes, lemons and oranges by hand. This took less than 10 min, as opposed to the 35 min before. I am thrilled with this little appliance!Tam

Delonghi Citrus Juicer
The juicer goes in both directions - its choice. This can get interesting at times because it skips a beat, so to speak. The screen part that catches the seeds and pulp, if you push on that part can be pushed into the pitcher but comes back out without issue - part of the learning curve of the device.
Overall, it is a good buy, has good power and worked very well for me.

Surprisingly good
I bought this because the house we rented has an orange tree. For $20 you can't beat it. I have a big heavy juicer at home, but this one is faster and easier. Yes it is a little flimsy. And you have to hold up the top with one hand while you push down the orange on the rotor
But you can juice 30 oranges in less than five minutes and it even filters out the seeds. When it breaks, and it probably will, I will just buy a new one.

Delonghi citrus juicer
I have only used this juicer for 2 lemon seasons and am very dissatisfied. The power connects only when you put pressure on the juicer with the lemon. It jerks back and forth, and only works after remittantly pushing on the lemon half. In AZ we grow zillions of lemons and the juicer is a must. I would absolutely not recommend it; the "on" power should be a switch, not activated by pushing down on the top of juicer.

Great little machine for a small job
This product gets 5 stars from me because it does exactly what i need it for. I use it to squeeze an 8oz glass of orange juice for breakfast every morning and it works great. It has a small motor so i probably wouldn't recommend it for serious juicing activities.
The product is made of plastic, so if you're the hulk you should be somewhat careful with it. I've had it for 8 months, it's been used every day, goes through the dishwasher twice a week and is still intact and juicing away like a juicing beast.
I did try to make 2 full carafes of juice for brunch one morning for friends, and it started to smell like burning plastic... but it completed the job and still works great 6 months later.

Flimsy
I purchased the Delonghi juicer last year for our summer home. The carafe developed a small crack almost immediately because the plastic is flimsy. By treating it very gingerly, I was able to continue using the juicer for the rest of the summer. Then the handle broke off in my hand as I was washing the carafe. I will buy a more expensive juicer because this one is not durable enough.

Only used 2 times and now it's dead
I just recently purchased this juicer (literally, like March 30 and received it April 4) since I'm tired of manually squeezing oranges. I tried it for the first time on 10 small oranges and it was okay. However, the second time I tried using it for 15 small oranges, I heard a snap at the bottom of this juicer. Then, it just stopped working. My husband said that it probably had a short circuit. Well, I guess it's true as it just stopped working. Bottomline, it went dead for just using it twice . I wouldn't recommend this unreliable product. I just wasted my money on this.

breaks easily
We were a huge fan of this juicer, until the handle broke off in my hand while hand washing it. We had only used it about seven times. I wrote to DeLonghi and provided a full description along with photos of the broken juicer. Never heard from them. After two months of waiting, finally emailed them (first time was snail mail). They responded quickly only to say that although the product was still under warranty, we'd have to pay the shipping along with a $15.00 fee to send it back for it to be replaced. That would just about cover the cost of purchasing it new all over again. Since DeLonghi doesn't stand by their product, we plan to look at their competitors to find a more durable juicer that won't break during a routine hand wash.

Good juicer...but
This is actually a great juicer. But don't let the caraf
mislead you. This machine is good for one to two
glasses at a time. The motor is too small to attempt
to fill the caraf. I love it because you can get as much or as little pulp as you want. The stronger juicers are great for smoothies, etc but you can't regulate the pulp.

Works great!
This is a very nice juicer. I use it in daily routine and i love it. very easy to operate. The best part is that it has the option of how much plup u would like in your juice. And very easy to clean. Light weighted and easy to fit anywhere. I highly recommend this juicer to all the fresh juice drinkers.

Barely does the job
Pros: the only juicer I could find to replace my old Black and Decker unit
Cons: the old B & D is still better; the De Longhi unit is very hard to clean, it is noiser, it does not extract the juice as well as the basic B & D unit; it is more complex and its aim is a good design, but lousy performance

Good Juicer
We had a juicer for many years that finally died and we went looking for a new one and found this one. We like it very much. I have the same concern as another reviewr re the plastic parts. One can only hope it will hold up and make nice glasses of juice every morning!. I would recommend it.

works very well.
Bought this new juicer after I dropped and broke the ceramic cone on the juicer we have had for 53 years. The new design of this juicer is very convieniant and works well. I do however, have a concern with the parts of the juicer mechanizium ( top portion, reamer and strainer.), as it is constructed of light (flimsy) plastic.

Best juicer ever
So easy to use and even easier to clean. I especially like having the ability to control how much pulp the finished product contains. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a compact juicer that does a really good job.

EFFORTLESS JUICING
I love fresh orange juice, and this product makes it extremely easy to quickly get the most juice for a healthy drink. I really like that it has a separate cone for juicing limes and lemons. It's so easy -- the most work you have to do is slicing the fruit in half!
