So useful
I wish I had this for years. I use it for filling muffin cups... with no mess and making neat and more round cookies (my favorite pumpkin chocolate chip recipe). I plan to purchase the smaller one too... for smaller chocolate chip cookies. Eventually I'll get around to using it for actual ice-cream too, but in the mean time its making the baking process significantly less messy!

Easy to use
I really like the easy action of this scoop, It is smooth and doesn't require as much force as others on the market. I just wish there was a 1-1/2 tablespoon medium sized scoop for cookies as the smaller one is too little.

Ice Cream Scoop
I purchased this scoop for use as a ice cream scoop but discovered that it has another great use. I have used it also to scoop out cookie dough to make the extra large cookies. The cookies are perfectly shaped and uniform in size. The release on the tool makes it a cinch to release the dough onto the baking pan. A great tool for multiple uses.

Great tool for the money!
After perusing other websites, I purchased the cookie dough scoop from C & B. It is of excellent quality and at a great price. It arrived sooner than expected and was in perfect condition. I would recommend not only the tool, but also Crate and Barrel! Great product from a great company!

love this kitchen tool.
Alton Brown recommended the smaller scoop for measuring out cookies. I used thesmall scoop for making mini muffins and scooping ricotta on lasagna. Can't wait to make some cookies. Very happy with my purchase.

Great for cupcakes or brownie bites
I use this scoop for scooping cupcakes and brownie bites (in small cupcake tins).
This is so much easier to use than a spoon! You don't get your hands all dirty and it gets the job done a lot faster.
Highly recommend it for baking.

A Kitchen Basic
You think you don't need a dough scoop, right? Well you do! I use mine all the time to scoop cookies and mini cupcakes for even portions everytime. I love to scoop cookie dough, freeze it and then bag up the scoops. Then we can just pop a few cookies into the oven when we need them and they are way better than what you can get it the refrigerated section of the grovery store. Viva la scoop!

Flimsy
I was pretty disappointed in this ice cream scoop. It's a little flimsy; the ice cream needs to be pretty soft and then, when you use the ratchet to remove the ice cream, the ratchet will either get stuck or gives you a messy partial chunk of ice cream, not an "even scoop." I've given up on this one. A spoon is so much easier.

Awesome scoop!
I've had this scoop for several years and it works great! Perfect ice cream scoops every time...and that's a lot of ice cream over the years!
