Critical must-have
My sister gave me this bowl 10+ years ago because it will keep salad fresh for days & days. Salad making is time consuming & this allows me to make two dinners & a lunch worth. I have searched for it for years so I could give this terrific item to friends. When I finally found it, I ordered 8 for gifts and a new lid for mine. The small bowls are nice for storage, but the big one is essential for salads. Treat yourself.

Great non-leaking containers!
I bought the smaller bowl and absolutely love it. I was looking for something glass that I could use to transport my lunch - this fit the bill! The lid fits really well, too.

cheap product
I microwaved some soup in the bowl with the lid on. Later, after I washed everything by hand, the lid no longer fit the bowl. Such a waste.

Most favorite!
This is, without exception, my favorite bowl in the kitchen. I cannot begin to list all of the foods that I have made, served, and stored in this bowl.
I have even used it for molded gelatins.
Be a friend and add it to your gift for a bridal shower or housewarming. The recipient will use it daily!

Impossible lids
Pro: They stay on and don't leak
Con: They stay on and are almost impossible to get off. It's even worse when the containers are cold. By the time I get to my leftovers, I'm usually furious and in pain. It hurts your fingers!

Best containers for me
I was looking for glass containers to replace most of my plastic containers for leftovers and to take to work. These work great, they do have plastic lids but I think it's better than nothing. I tried the ones with glass lids but gravitate towards these in the end.

Best Bowl I ever bought
These working bowls are absolutely the best bowls I have ever used. They are great to store things in the refridgerator. They keep things so great. After using this bowl I came back and ordered more for myself, my mother, and my sister.

Really like this bowl
I have one of these bowls and love using it. So I bought one as a gift for my daughter. The bowl came with little shards of glass that pulled away from the top of the bowl. Crate and Barrel exchanged it with no problems and my daughter loves it as much as I do. I love the fact that it is glass and not plastic. The size is ideal for salads and for storing leftovers. I would highly recommend this bowl with lid.

Very practical
Every house should have 2 or 3 of these bowls. They can be used for everything and look great when serviing at a party. Price is very reasonable too. I need to get 2 more of them.

Pretty and Functional Bowls
In reading some of the other reviews, I wonder if we are talking about the same product. I LOVE the fact that the lids fit tight. I don't find them hard to get on or off-- they just have a snug fit so I know the food is staying fresh.
I love the weight of them as well. And I have had no problem with putting hot liquids in as some other reviewers have. They are pretty enough to serve in even for company. Count me in as a fan.

Love it
I love these bowls and the matching glasses with lids. I run a healthy food service and I use these and they fit nice and tight and do not leak. They're great.

Definitely working overtime!
I absolutely love these bowls and glasses. Both small and large. The glasses can be used for anything from drinking to holding cotton balls and qtips in my bathroom cabinet. They are absolutely lovely!!!

Love this bowl!
This bowl is great because it's large and you can serve from it, then just put the lid on and put it in the fridge. I'd like to get the smaller one as well.

Great bowl
I love this bowl. It is wonderful for storage and can easily be used as a serving bowl as well. I'm ordering another large one as well as a small one.

Not perfect
Along with small bowls I received this as a gift. The small bowls were perfect but the large bowl was not. It has a scratch in the bottom. And for the longest I could not snap the lid on until I realize the bowl was not perfectly round. I like it. It looks simple but pretty. But think I just got a bad one.

Very Disappointed
I used it once in the microwave and it cracked on the inside of the glass. Otherwise, I thought it would have been a great product.

Not crazy about the lid
The lid on this very nice glass bowl is way too difficult to take off. I have to fight with it, and sometimes the contents spill out.

Not impressed with the lids...they seem cheap. Glass container is nice and works well for leftovers.

perfect purchase
I've had these bowls for many, many years and they still look brand new. I bought only the lid to replace the previous one that had torn. It's a perfect fit.

Great Bowl Ever
I already had this bowl for many years, but I just had to buy second one. They are perfect for mixing, storing and even using in the microwave. This bowl is not flimsy, but a heavy weight one, so it can stand up to anything. The lid with this bowl is an excellent seal.
