This amazing razor-sharp knife is created in Seki City, Japan's 700-year-old center for samurai swords. The "ripple" Damascus rust-free finish is achieved by forging 16 layers of steel. Flexible, stick-resistant blade is stamped, hand-ground to an exceptional 16-degree angle, then hand-polished.

LOVE THESE KNIVES!
We have the bread knife and the chefs knife and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! They are well made and do a great job. We keep them working well with the honing steel and they are still working like new almost a year later. Would HIGHLY recommend this brand.
