Kitchen Workhorse
I know cooks who only use a larger chef's knife, but I love this one-more manageable for smaller jobs. Love my Wusthof knives so much (wedding gifts) that I'm now building a set for my mom.

Great knife
I bought this for a gift and it was a big hit! Lovely for jobs a bit smaller than you want the 8" knife for.

best knife EVER!
I bought this knife as a gift---to myself! Being just out of grad school and on a budget it was a big spend item-- but worth every single cent I spent on it.
This knife works wonders and has helped me improve my home cooking skills- I feel like a Top Chef every time I use it to dice veggies, chop herbs or thinly slice fruit for dehydrating. Smooth and easy to handle, perfect for any skill level of cooking!

classic Black Chef's Knife 6
For this Classic Knife you don't need to be a chef.
I got it as a Christmas gift from my husband ( sounds bizarre, I know, but I put it on my wish list ) and now I can cut trough chickens, turkeys or a meat with a bone like one, two, three. Finished my struggles with pieces of meat with my old equipment. And I also got an arm, hope will never need it !

Best size knife
I am a home cook, I teach Indian cooking. Everywhere I teach, I see that most home cooks use 8" knives and struggle using it. Personally, I feel that a 6" knife is the best way to cook. It is easy to use, one can get a firm grip and feel safe and comfortable using it. Wushtof 6" knife has a sharp edge and is nicely designed to get a firm grip while using it. That is what I found.

Amazing
We registered for this knife and were grateful to receive it. We registered for very good quality knives to replace the cheap "starter set" we'd been living with. The difference in quality is much greater than the difference in price. I will never buy less expensive knives again. My husband couldn't believe how thinly he could slice a tomato :)

Great Knives
I have had these knives for 10 years. They still slice as well as when I bought them. I keep adding to my collection and wouldn't buy anything else.
