Great in theory!
I saw this garlic press and I know immediately that I must have it. However, after purchasing it I was so disappointed.
First impression: This garlic presser looks very sleek and the design is brilliant. However, it is really heavy but still manage to feel very cheap.
I was even more disappointed when I try to use it. The garlic press open to 180 degrees but due to the middle piece to separate the two sides you can only add one clove of garlic at the a time. This also made it very difficult to clean press.
The slicer side did not do a very good job. It crushed the garlic more than it sliced. The 'slices' came out all mushy and crushed (Think if you flatten the garlic with your knife) instead of a nice clean slices. (I used slices garlic to for presentation so this defeat the purpose)

From 'in the kitchen' to CHEF
I am not a gadget person. I think most gadgets waste drawer and cabinet space. This garlic press is one of few exceptions and has its own 'cubbie' in a drawer in my kitchen so I can find it easily. If you do not own a garlic press, get this one. It is comparably priced to other quality presses and its performance is top-notch.

Press AND Slice
Great combination! Not only does this product mince your garlic, it easily cuts them into thin slices! 2-in-1 and it doesn't take up too much room in your drawer!

Essential item for cooks
Heavy duty, dual purpose garlic press/slicer built to last and very attractive in stainless steel. Easy to clean, I wouldn't be without it now I own one.

Best Garlic Press!
I needed to replace a garlic press and saw this model in the store. I was skeptical at first that it was just a comfortable handle and feared that it would be a struggle to get the cloves through this heavy duty press. Much to my surprise, the blades on both sides of this dual press are so sharp the use is effortless. It is large enough to hold several cloves and it has been a welcome new addition to my kitchen gadget collections. I highly recommend this item.
