Great for Crab Legs
We have not tried these with lobster, but we've used them for Snow Crab legs which are a little easier to open than lobster, and they work wonderfully! They are super cute and easy to use. We received these as a wedding present and we love them. I can't speak for how they work on tougher items, but they worked perfectly for us!

These don't work!
I bought these for a photo shoot and they looked great, but when we tried to use them for lobster they were completely useless (and I'm no rookie lobster eater). Why make a product that doesn't work?! Didn't they try it before putting it on the shelves? What a waste!

Clunky but Works
We've only had a couple of chances to use ours, but this cracker works well enough. It's a little clunky to hold (the cuteness of the claw-shaped arms results in a loss of some functionality), but if you're only using it occasionally, it's not a bad buy. For someone who is eating a lot of crab or lobster, though, I'd probably recommend a more traditional cracker.

Hard to use
They are an attractive product style-wise but difficult to use. Cracking lobster claws can be quite unwieldy with this product. I would recommend thinner "crackers".
