Good at first, but then...
I've had both of these salt and pepper mills for about 5 years. They replaced my first super cheap mills that I got in college. At first they were awesome. But I use them several times a week and I guess that's too much wear for them. A while ago, the pepper and salt would collect on the counter after use, so I have to have a dish under the mills to avoid a huge mess on the counter. Also, the grinding doesn't work well anymore, so they're getting replaced.

Very Stylish
I purchased the Bucktown salt & pepper mills after a kitchen remodel and love the way they work and look. They look very classic and I am happy to have them out on the counter all the time. They work great too!

I would recomment these mills to anyone. They grind easily, look beautiful in the kitchen and are very durable.

Surprisingly good
This grinder has a sure grip, yet not too hard to turn. The salt comes out just the right size and doesn't spill out the extras. I recommend it highly.

Very Impressed!
I was wanting a set that would go with our new contempo/modern design and these are beautiful! They were actually a bit larger than I had expected which was great. They work great and I love that they came already full. I'm so glad I purchased these...they were worth every cent!

Classy Mills
I bought both the salt mill and the pepper mill. They have a very nice weight, a good size, and we really appreciate the variance of the grind from fine to coarse. They are much nicer than I had anticipated, and the price was less than half what I was going to pay for a similar set at another major retailer.
They look terrific on our granite island. Very classy.

Best Salt and Pepper Mills ever!
My mother-in-law had these, and we used them and fell in love with them. You can imagine how happy my husband and I were to hear that she had bought them at Crate and Barrel...and even happier when we went and found the same ones! These are by far the best. We've had them for at least 7 months now, and they still work like new, even with filling up with new salt and pepper. We've even bought these for our friends and family because they come to our place and make the same comments that they love them. You won't be disappointed!
